2006 Acura RL SH-AWD with aspec kit, black on black with 200,000km for $4600

Seems like a reasonable deal, leaves room for any major repairs that are needed or coming up

General question, you guys finding people migrating to FB Marketplace over CL? I'm finding more and more good stuff there than CL. Some won't even post on CL. I wish FB Marketplace had better search and sort function.

It's strange, friends from ON use Kijiji there. No one or very few people use CL in TO.

SSM_DC5 02-08-2021 09:53 AM

^ yes.

probably because CL is known for low balling time wasters that can hide behind a made up email address. Whereas for FB, at least you can vet them to some extent. The speed of messaging is a bonus too, instant messaging vs email.

Same here in Alberta. No one uses Craigslist.

is this the one that was liquid wrapped? looks so much better now.

still - a bit optimistic $ despite the desirable paint colour and low mileage. Would be nice to have that rod bearing receipt in hand for 35k plus cars.

Yeah that looks like same pics and location as The Dip Dr.

Craigslist in the lower mainland, Castanet in the Okanagan, Kijiji everywhere else. I always search & list with all 3 and the last 3 vehicles I sold, one was through each so YMMV. Lots of people use FB Marketplace but my god is that ever a pile of trash to use and the convenience means 99% of the "buyers" you hear from are a complete waste of time.

Look like the current owner is a flipper since that was listed for $2520 and sold about 2 weeks ago

^ The always loved the RL but they are quite expensive when things go wrong.

I found my e91 on autotrader of all places.
I totally agree on FB marketplace, I despise that it is becoming the default classifieds.

Don't forget Used Victoria, and Used Nanaimo. There are some great finds on there at times.

cdizzle_996 02-10-2021 09:52 AM

Not the cleanest example but a good bang for buck PFL C63 especially if it could be had for around 15k

goddamn that's a lot of car for the money. EDIT headbolts not done but inspect OK? not sure that's even possible to check and a warranty? I'd flog it for a year and still sell it with some time left on the coverage. :awwyeah:

trollface 02-10-2021 10:41 AM

Doesn't say head bolts are done. Just says it looks ok?

Tried to sell a bedframe on CL a few months ago

Title - Queen Bedframe

"What size is a queen mattress?"

"Can you deliver and assemble for 20 bucks off asking?"

"How about free? People give away bedframes all the time!!!"

Sold it on FB with in like 90 mins of posting.

2012 Hyundai Equus - $11,500

Probably not everyone's cup of tea but Hyundai Equus, their top of the line s-class fighter at a fraction of the cost and maybe less headaches

Exactly. Not to mention tons of guys have successfully pulled head bolts individually which can be done for $1000.

I'm almost certain this car was purchased a few years back from Ford on the Sunshine Coast for around 28k. I seriously considered it at the time, but passed because I wanted one with the updated head bolts.
