1 of no more than 1,500 of that make and model (not edition) produced worldwide by the manufacturer for that model year.
I think thats how, 5K were made in all model years globally, so maybe they had less than 1500 MY2003's built?
Otherwise there seems to be some abuse of the ICBC collectors system...

bizarre. crickets for days, then the seller emails me to tell me where the car is parked. no name no number, said go look at it. car has been sitting there for 2 years - wasn't even locked
so...it's out there if anybody is keen. i STILL thought about grabbing it just to part out but I don't think it's worth the effort. lots of wrecked boxsters around and who knows if it even runs at this point.
