I worked at carter dodge in the late 90's, those were our loaners/shop cars. They were used for the celebrity races at the molson indy, and then sold to the dealers at the end. They were abused, by the racers, by the customers, and mostly by us. I remember having to go to home depot to pick up paint, and the other lube guy drove the whole way in 1st gear bouncing off the limiter just to see if he could....

Moral of the story: it did!

I can bet money that every honda dealership in north america gets at least 5-10 calls a week about used Elements. I had a list of 7 customers that were looking for one.

Solid cars and obviously a good demand for them. Honda should axe the HRV and build something utilitarian and compact like the Element.
