I'm actually interested in that generation of X5M for some affordable TT ridiculousness this summer as my truck's transmission just ate itself. From what I understand if the injectors are done with Index 10+ and the valve seals are replaced they're actually a very stout motor and transmission combo. Aside from known recalls what else is there to watch out for in those motors? 555hp but a quick tune can put them at 700+.
