FYI there are some crackheads out there listing 986 Boxsters for $20K USD and they are selling. Do I believe they're worth that kind of money? No, but just letting everyone know that these cars are sky rocketing.

the local PCA guys are all looking for cheap boxsters this spring.

seemingly in style this year to leave the GT cars at home and fly around town in base 986's. couple of the big boys have felt the sting of cain and co. too

you can have a lot of fun in a boxster.

I'm trying to wait for May 1st, just to be done w the insurance transition BS and just do 6 months this year for the 996. Getting close now!

PS - if anybody wants to take a big chance on a cheap one, that haggard one from north van a few months ago is still parked outside. It's not on CL anymore, and I don't have contact info for the guy - but I'll leave a note on it or give it's location to anybody looking for a project.

I really regret not getting that cheap black Boxster with 300K km's on the chassis. $10K with a hardtop and updated headlights and tail lights.

Massive ragrets.

There is a 2015 Gayman GTS in richmond. Been forsale for a while but it has that ugly red interior. That could be a good buy if prices keep going up.
There was a 2012 red Cayman R that sold for $70K locally and in Montreal a Red GTS with black interior that sold for $80K range

Speaking of Boxsters, TheProducer, have they talked about this car?

Cheap for a 2002 Boxster S

Cayman R is going to be a collectible car for sure. recently saw a WTB on rennlist, and there are not many to be had. Those that know are hanging onto them. Heck of a lot less of them built than GT4's.

I remember that black boxster - we talked about it here. It was a PCA member car and was well taken care of. Was a steal.

Yeah, anyone who wants a Cayman R or GTS is sorta in the same league as a GT4. With the GT4 getting a new higher MSRP, that means no reason to drop the price on used GT4's, GTS and R's.

Let's see what happens when interest rates start climbing.

This should never be a thing. Fucking toddler with a gun because he can't let go of the past and wasting Vancouver taxpayer money stroking his eternally bruised ego rather than getting into actual police work.

You would think that but all the VI's and noise tickets is only padding to his request for more funding into the traffic/VI division.

You won't find a single Mini Truck/Lowrider mag in a chinese person's home. Food scissors, perhaps in every drawer.

But deff no lowrider mags in my house.

2008 Audi A4 S-Line - 132k km- $3,500

2008 Audi A4 S-Line Quattro. Low KMs, garage kept, regular maintenance/records. Legendary Audi Quattro. This car is a beast in the snow. Bose Audio, satelite radio, lovingly cared for. $3,500 obo. Work from home now so no longer need this vehicle (it’s our second car). Reasonable offers will be considered, I need the space back in the garage!

Don't know much about these. Anything to look out for?

^ pretty good find for that price and low kms. Even if you had to invest a thousand dollars into it, you'd still come out with a pretty steady low mileage S-line, AWD, sedan. And guy said he is open to offers, so offer him $3000 and see what happens.

Only thing to take note of is that 2008 is a FSI and 2009 is TFSI ... for the differences, see this:

That red Cayman R was for sale for 55 few months back. I scoffed as it was a PDK, since we're on ths subject of regrets...

Sure I did. Had friends in the mini-truck scene. Hell a buddy of mine still rocks a bagged yoda. Personally I’ve always preferred a clean look. That paint job with the altezzas is just a look I am not into.

Every now and then I look on craigslist for lowriders.... they're cool sure I'm asian and I don't fit in the stereotype but who ever said a specific style is only for that one race?

There were Euro lowriders which were popular at some point. Definitely has some overlap with the early ricer scene.

On account of having as much ground clearance as your mom's Corolla, I'd think pretty poorly.

A jacked up one might be a little better but if you are desperate to put a square peg into a round hole, a Forester would probably be better since it's higher.

A friend of mine had an integra just like this. Had the 13” wires and everything (no chrome fenders though, eww) but his was white with a blue phantom top.

It was a sick ride back in ‘96!

Well probably more so on light FSR's, not so much jeep things. I assume in terms of capabilities with a good set of off road tires it should be alright?

You can drive light FSR's in any car with pretty much any tires.
