That Element would be a riot with a K20C1/C4 in there but even a junkyard K24A2 (TSX) with the 6 speed would be a blast.

tofu1413 06-01-2021 11:19 AM

Damn. $2k for element.

Cheaper than EF civic wagons. And safer too.

Well if the old boomer in the Cadillac SRX didn't anal my Element into a guardrail while driving on the 99 three years ago, it would've been boosted by now :rukidding:

RSX-S Greddy kit plus E-Manage was all the rage way back. Nextmod shop staff in Ontario had an automatic boosted one running 10psi tapered to 8psi at redline, pushing 350whp :drunk:

There's also a J35 swap kit. Or K24A2 swap is also super easy. If I recall correctly, can't slap a diff head (K20Z/K20A/K24A2) onto K24A4 block cause piston clearance issues.

E30 vert for $7500
I sort of know the owner, I’ve bought parts from him. Never seen the car in person but he’s a really nice guy and really into e30s and BMWs in general.

That thing is awesome

CL good buy: rare AF 3 pedal car, 2 owners, pretty low miles. Relatively cheap. These have aged well and I just love this as a poor mans C63. Winter tires included - great all weather car.

CL bad buy: accident damage, ripped seat, chipped paint. Looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet.

Putting your knee on the seat to reach over to the other side is pretty good at ripping the seams in seats.

Alpine White E39 M5s must be pretty rare. Don't think I've ever seen one in the flesh before.

Hows the used tesla market? Better to just go for a new Model 3 with the rebates and incentives?

I recall someone bought an old Model S in here. Cant seem to find it...

JDMDreams 06-02-2021 10:15 PM

Buy New, I'm looking at their site right now, they dropped their deposit from $2500 to $100 but none refundable now....... Not sure how that's legal

Anyone still in to import tuning these days? Been contemplating picking up an old civic and modding the shit out of it - just dunno if any garages that do this still exist

If you live in Vancouver, I dont think that will be a good idea. Unless you plan to track it or just keep it in the garage for you to admire. lol

I have a baby now so I can’t, but this is cheaper than an NA miata, looks pretty good too. Supercharged 2.3 with a great looking interior. Worth checking out, perfect for summer
