garage queens are tragic also: expecting a cream puff at driver's condition price like mileage matters on a proven platform |

B18C1 Swapped MFactory Close Gears Honda EK Civic ITR 5 Lugs -- $8000 https://www.facebook.com/groups/1589...6243668981808/ TL;DR description 337k chassis km 155k engine km good compression / leak down Spoiler! Full disclosure -- I know the seller. The car is not a looker, but it's got a whole bunch of good parts -- esp that MFactory gear set / transmission. And it is definitely fast. |
I have a K20 swapped EK I’ve been building with 5 lug swap etc… not sure how much of his swap he did or not, but $8k would barely cover swap parts/labour alone. Car and ITR wheels are a bonus. B series shit is expensive as hell now. |
Pretty impressive car being able to keep up with the pcarzzzzzz Edit: Is this car a VI magnet? Edit 2: Nevermind haha - "Remove some exhaust components to make it less Vancouver safe but make more power" |
It’s definitely not VI safe, no airbag steering wheel, stripped interior, aftermarket seats, loud exhaust… Cain would have a field day with this car but what race car wouldn’t he have a field day with? He’s done a lot to quiet it down, I had to put a vibrant resonator and a modified CRV muffler on mine and it still sounds like the angriest hornets nest ever, much louder than this car. |
i guess that makes it an $800 car :troll: |
The car is definitely not VI safe bcos of the reasons that 68style has mentioned, but at least with the exhaust, it is not obnoxious at all. You know it is a nice aftermarket sound, and it packs an aggressive bark when the engine is being wrung out on track, but if you drive it sensibly, it doesn't sound stupid. Mind you, the MFactory gear set makes for an aggressive gearing, so in city driving, you'd probably want to watch your revs. Quote:

Sounds like this Civic belongs in the bad buys thread. :troll: Just kidding. Cool car but too heat score. :okay: |
Not necessarily a good buy But definitely a rare buy 2009 Cayenne GTS 6Spd Manual https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/.../19_11934554_/ |

Official reason for higher prices of new and used cars. 'Perfect storm' of chip shortage, soaring demand pushes used car prices to new highs https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/perf...ighs-1.5494266 |
A little off-topic but was wondering if someone could let me know how much are these wheels worth? I can't for the life of me find this specific spec: 19x8.5 +44 19x9.5 +46 https://i.ibb.co/prRBhcD/20210702-144904.jpg |
1973 Karmann Ghia 1600cc $16000 113k km https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...5716488388964/ - Beautiful and mechanically top notch 1973 Karmann Ghia 1600cc - imported from Portland - Very well maintained (regular professionally completed maintenance) - have receipts for almost everything - includes lots of extras including original manuals, books, extra trim, anti-theft lock, etc. I have no idea about what the market value of these beautiful cars are, but $16k hardly seems steep for something as beautiful as this. The guy's FB profile pic literally has this car in there as part of his cartoon avatar, so you just know this car has been well cared for. I've always had a soft spot for the classic VW Beetle, and over time, that extends over to its sister car, the Karmann Ghia. I lack the garage space and the mechanical aptitude to properly care for something like this, so seeing this ad, I hope someone who'd appreciate this car would pick it up, and continue to give it the care it deserves. |
