How do you get a 18k claim and then a 5 on the same day?

I recently did the modified status inspection and it cleaned the title, no more rebuilt status. Fucked up man lol...
Could be something similar?

Is it even possibe to check off "clean" without the system telling you "nope" | Yes it is. I purchased an 04 Mazda 3 wagon and seller said it was clean. They checked normal status on the transfer form. It was $2200 so I didn't bother running a report.
I went to sell the car and both the buyer and myself were told by the agent it was Rebuilt. Lucky for me it was cheap and the buyer still bought it after some price negotiation.
The original seller of the Mazda also ignored me when I let know them know it was rebuilt. Lesson learned on my part.
Always at a minimum run the FREE ICBC check that will tell you the status: https://onlinebusiness.icbc.com/vdwq.../WelcomeAction
Side note: I came across a 2018 Civic Type R in Ontario that had a normal title yet the Carfax notes total loss. The story was the car was paid out to the owner because they essentially had replacement insurance. Yet somehow the car retained a normal title and was repaired. It does show the $20k accident.

A '94 Impala SS with 128k km on the odometer for just under $15k.
I don't really keep track of the Impala SS market, but this one seems awfully cheap. I really like it... and I've just sold me car too |
