This one has been on the market for quite some time. The body is quite rough around the edges, and it's just a base model with the 5 speed.

Some are asking 8-9. Not saying that they sell at that price but NAs have gone up a lot. Even NC2 PRHTs are 20+ these days...

Now I feel like I missed out on that dark blue PRHT 2012 that the owner was gonna sell to me for 16. Could have driven it for 4 years for free.

FeelsBadMan There was a white one that was on sale at a Chinese dealership for $16k last year. Kinda wish I sold my car before that...

A buddy of mine got it. Huge bmw and e30 enthusiast.

The Producer 08-12-2021 03:35 PM

this post is a tiny bit of a stretch. it's not local (calgary) and it's not a great buy on the face of it at 40k (although gone are the days of 30k Cayman S's)

It is however vouched by a respected local PCA member, and a bit of research shows that the "sport" is a limited and numbered edition. bitches love numbered editions.

That would be worth a few extra dollars to me if I thought I could capitalize on it at resale. Nice maintenance done as well.

If only this car was local.
That being said, in the current day, a $39K Gayman S is a good deal, sport or not.

2008 BMW 323i 6 speed for $4500

Needs a clutch replacement, but other than that, is this any good?

^hell no, worst cars ever. Differentials all whine and blow up, impossible to find alot of mechanical components because they were canadian only models, underpowered, basic shit interior.

jaaagman 08-13-2021 09:09 PM

Dang does that apply to the 323's or all E9x? I assumed they were just a run of the mill smaller displacement N52's.

The differential issue is specific to the 323 models. There's absolutely no reason to buy one when a 325/328 costs nearly about the same.

skiiipi 08-14-2021 05:44 AM

not local (toronto) and maybe not a good buy...as the price is a bit high
but looks to be a super clean, super low mileage LS...
at $15000 it would be a pretty good buy given todays market prices.

I've been in contact with the owner. Turns out he is a friend of a friend.
