One bad thing about it (just my own personal thing) is the interior is the godawful mocha chocolate brown... full leather, not half cloth like many of the late year ones were... but ugh... why couldn't it be grey or black. |
It's beater season. Low KM fully loaded Corolla. Has A/C too ! https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...381189179.html https://images.craigslist.org/00p0p_...2_1200x900.jpg |
^ It’s like a half size LS400 |

those COROLLA LE of that vintage, I find are so baller. a tachometer, nicer seats, alloy wheels and sunroof!! 90% of them, i swear were those base bust SD or DX models.... never an LE. |
That Corolla seems to be in very good shape, compared to the EG and EK sedans |
Back in the late 90’s I swear every single time I was stuck behind some turd driving 10kms slower than the limit while driving in the fast lane on the east-west connector, it was that exact corolla right there :lol |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...381948905.html dang. a lot of car for the money. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...372756645.html still worth gold, these things. |
Just saw this pop on for 3k Not sure if it’s the 330ci or 325ci but I believe this may be the 330ci with the zhp package based on the smg transmission. Only 140k km so not too bad. Minor dent on the hood which should be easily resolved https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9420239626685/ |
Those Early SMG....... are basically aids of the transmission world. |
Who learn how to drive in these Corollas? (Not LE trim) |

I remember my driving school car having crank windows and the ac barely worked. |

Then you make it to surrey and some uncle driving 20kms/hr in the fast lane on 88th. It's because his windows are completely fogged up and he can't see. Anybody remember this white guy with a white 92ish camry sedan? I always saw on the east west connector. It had tinted windows with some white decals(white knight??) on them. Was always weaving in and out of traffic or trying to race you. |
I'm not sure if he's still around, but there would be a guy who commuted from Richmond to Surrey on the 91 and up 88th every day in a Prius with reflective tape all over it... he was seriously road police... if he felt that anyone was driving even a bit faster than him or trying to pass, he would turn on his emergency flashers or box you in or even just change lanes in front of you with his brake lights on... go same speed as cars next to him if he saw you coming up fast from behind him... he absolutely could not stand anyone trying to get in front of him. He'd even go in the curb lane on the light at 88th and 120th and try to run you and cut back in front of you if you got in front of him. Loved to flash his highbeams like crazy too if you actually did go by him and he was behind you. I had so many battles with that motherfucker. Then he got an even newer Prius, covered it in reflective tape all over the bumper and shit too. I don't often wish ill of people, and I haven't been doing that commute for 4 years and he looked pretty damn old... but I kinda hope he's.... gone elsewhere  |

Wow this is turning into "Remember the 80-90s?" good buy thread, hella nostalgia |
I remember paying $1500 for my AE92 GTS with 160k in like 2011. Different world back then I know but Jesus. |
Isn't the AE92 the FWD one no one wants though? Different time, and totally different car. |

Brings back memories, first car was a 96 Corolla DX, sold it with 350k KM and not a single issue. Those cars were bullet proof. Nowadays, I haven't owned a car that has made it over 100k KMs without major issues. |
struggle to get to 100k, are you buying italian? |
He must be a huge fan of Alfa Romeo :troll: |
Man what is going on with this ad? The car is running sort of but only with CEL resets every few minutes and in the last photo he’s trying to show how close he can park to the wall? lolol https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...382992723.html |
resetting the CEL every few minutes doesnt cure the problem.............. its like stacking band aids on an open wound. but man, ae92 market is nuts. I remember looking at them with recently passed air care, next to no rust, good driving condition for like $800 back then..... $1200 if GTS too! |
