probably because the ae86 was rwd... same engine and stole its thunder. AE92 Had independent suspension vs that stupid rear beam axle of the ae86.... Slightly more modern car but over shadowed by its drift cult predecessor. the ae92 successors in japan were introduced with the ITB 20V 4AG's too.... plus six speed manuals so it made the ae92... not special..??? |
Back in the 80's and 90's the ae86 was a POS. My neighbour in burnaby had the very last GTS sold in Canada, it was garage kept and immaculate. At the time, it was just a POS underpowered, poor performing econobox corolla. Who knew? |
I suppose we can all circle back and thank Takumi Fujiwara for the AE86's hyper inflation. |
my brother had a real minter for a few years. all original blue paint. stalked it near his house for awhile until the original owner finally agreed to sell. it was an awesome daily. paled in comparison to his ae86's for fun factor though. too bad FWD is trash. (apologies to my own VW's) |
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3809538850226/ Here's a nice time capsule Toyota MR2 SW20 with the TRD wide body kit $8000 |
^ This guy is on the BCMR2 group and posted it there... doesn't seem to speak english at all in the comments, writes in partial sentences, can't answer even the most basic questions and his FB profile is totally blank with a photo that doesn't make sense or match his name at all. I'm thinking it's fake............ even a copy of the TRD widebody kit is like $5,000 |
There are so few authentic kits in this world that the chances of it being real are next to impossible. |
Yah no question the kit is a copy... but I think the guy's profile/ad is fake too |

^^ for sure, that is the price of some Civic SiR's a few years ago .. those tin wrapped cars that everyone wanted to learn how to drive manual on. This one truly seems like a 'good buy', classy, timeless elegance in styling! Would even be a nice little summer garage queen to have. Not even a BMW fan but would hit it. |
I think tofu should buy it :troll: |
Are you sure not bicbaws?:troll::troll: or another BMW will get totaled |
:megusta: it has the stoff lazer anthracite seats that I had #rareaf Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |
Dang, a 6 speed 330ci with the alcantara interior. Seems like a really good buy. |

RIP that guys email inbox, I bet he's inundated with responses. That is a legit good buy |
Yah, if you get an apt/viewing with seller, bring $5000 cash and pray that he will sell it to you. Give him an extra $200 tip. |
I'm not 100% sure if this is a good buy or not but I like the Cube so here it is 2010 Nissan Cube Krom Fully Loaded! - $3,650 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...381294371.html https://images.craigslist.org/00f0f_...2_1200x900.jpg |
Winter beater, anyone? 01 Mazda protégé, no accidents, 183k,auto asking $1300 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...385296933.html |
https://images.craigslist.org/01717_...2_1200x900.jpg https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...384982758.html I'd say this is more above market value (whatever that means nowadays) but low KM and clean condition. Just hope there's enough of a paper trail on it for piece of mind. Also this would make a great addition to my car club: Vintage Auto Group of Infiniti Sedans In Love Current Members: 1 :alone: |
^ Saw that the other day. Really love how these cars look. How are those early Nissan V8's? Looks incredibly difficult to work on. Worse than a VG... |

I recall reading that the older Infiniti v8s were a night mare. As parts are unavailable unless you try to over night from Japan. |
