The LBGT Celica owner is very open to talk about it but doesn’t know much about cars… I believe it’s using oil (like ant 1zzfe) and had a $4K hit to the front driver corner which was fixed under insurance but sounds like it wasn’t fixed right cuz they said that corner didn’t align well… also was a Winnipeg car most of its life… and rust starting on the drivers door.
Also said there’s a scrape on the passenger side and sometime stole the antenna + cruise control stopped working.

If the rest of the car is in good shape that would be pretty rad. There's a bagged mid 2000s TT on 1552 wheels I see around north van and its fucking dope.

Curious how ppl buy these motors. How can you tell you're not buying a heap of scrap with 500,000 km on it?
Everyone's car is lady driven and parked indoors. Every motor I see has less than 30 on it lol.

that's too much for a used 1.8t. you should be able to do better.
anything that's TT specific will already be on the popped motor.
I'd buy a cheap 1.8t (basically any variation) and put the spare money into a fresh turbo and software. drop em in and send it.
so ya - fun project

Cut dash shifter, drum brakes in the back, much higher mileage and no AIR CONDITIONING... so important!!!!.. .lol... tradeoffs I guess.

^ that's really nice, 6 speed, pretty low mileage for a 2005, timing belt, clutch done. Fun sleeper!
Some nice upgrades, downpipe, stereo, projector headlights, cat back exhaust. As long as it's not too too loud and a VI magnet.

The buyer seems like a super nice guy.

That thing would have been a riot to drive. Need to post those on Revscene first! Not that I would have bought it, but still. Ha

Looks pretty mint, these cars have been becoming increasingly rare. Price might be on the high side.
