Fuck curbers. There was a 335i for sale recently for $9k from one of the Richmond used car dealers. Guy bought it and within 2 weeks listed it up for $16k. I inquired and asked how long he's had it, "4 years now" and called him out. "oh i got nothing to lie about it just harder to sell a car if i told you i bought it recently. there's nothing wrong with the car" |
And to clarify, if you got a good deal on something and reselling at market, that's fine. It's the dishonesty and salesmanship that irks me with the typical flipper crowd. "WTB aircooled porsche 911 for father son project" type assholes who when you click on their listings it's immediately obvious it's their dealer/basement CL flipping account. |
That would never work on me anyways. I could not care less if you were doing a restoration with Gandhi and Mother Terressa was doing the RWB fender install. PAY ME |

Meh, it happens all the time on low priced cars. I don’t do it myself of course, but I’ve definitely run into it quite a few times. Government forces peoples hands with ridiculous 12% tax. |
How do you even get the car home? Or test drives if you don't even register it? |
Ask the seller to drop it off with the forms? Throw a plate on from another car? Lots of guys work at shops and have R plates. You’d be surprised haha some people aren’t too bright. |
So how many cars has everyone here curbed/flipped for more than 1000$ profit :drunk: |

Soon JT and the Liberal government will campaign on the promise of a law that makes flipping of cars extremely difficult ... |

2003 Honda Accord Coupe 5 speed manual. - $1,900 (Courtenay) https://comoxvalley.craigslist.org/c...408021763.html 003 Honda Accord Coupe 5 Speed Manual- The good: -Vehicle runs great, clutch is smooth and in good condition. -Brakes recently replaced -Great on gas -Has required little maintenance and upkeep (true to a Honda's name). -Tires have good amount of life left To note: -Interior leather is worn, especially drivers seat -Engine has mild/general leaks (not unusual for vehicle of this age as per oil serviceman). -DLR light displayed, however it is assumed to be a bulb or something minor as there has been no issues with the vehicle. -Body paint & aesthetic 7/10. As mentioned there has been no issues with the vehicle, it is great on gas and incredibly reliable. Used for 1-year as a commuter car to Campbell River, previous driver was lady-driven within town. Selling as I am now working in Courtenay. |

Taken the condition and kms do you think you can replicate one for 10k? |
