Definitely can be had for cheaper, or at that price with way less miles. They haven’t met e30 m3 prices yet, and probably will never catch up. They look too similar to the regular 190e

trollface 12-10-2021 12:46 PM

There are two on CL, what in the name is going on?

bcrdukes 12-10-2021 02:32 PM

It is a fake ad. If you Google Lens the pictures, they pop up on other sketchy sites.

Thought prices for sports cars would soften in the Winter. Boy was I wrong :okay:

Seems like a really good deal -- almost too good to be true, assuming that the car doesn't have any major issues:

2000 Honda Civic 4 door
auto tranny :(
175k km
looks like an DX model with the hand crank windows?

asking $1500

Did y'all notice the classic "out of sight, out of mind" tape fix on the dash pic?

Excellent. We can all learn from our mistakes.

It'd also cost about that much to get that thing running properly but hey.

Lol it'd cost more than 3k to get that running properly.

Run, don't walk.

Oh, I meant that it'd cost as much as it cost to build the Six Million Dollar man.

But check out the rich Corinthian leather! Ricardo Montalbon would be proud.

what the heck is going on with all those hoses on the top of the Maserati engine?

trollface 12-15-2021 07:21 AM

More hoses = more good

Look at that AMAZING interior though. Rmr a crappy Miata is 6k these days.

Only the 2003 special edition in a medium graphite grey does... can be distinguished by the wheel package and sport racing pedals.

There was one for sale on the Sunshine Coast that I went to look at as I happened to be over there at the time it was up... it was an okay buy at $2500 but I didn't trust the seller, they neglected to mention in the ad that the original engine had blown and been replaced as well as a bunch of other major work that wasn't disclosed until meeting in person. Missing trim pieces inside too.

And even if it did, I'd doubt the VLSD would still be functional at this age and mileage.

I wonder how much work it would take to mate a 6sp trans from a Spec V sentra to the 3.5L and get a helical LSD

I doubt if the 6sp from the Spec V can handle the power from a VQ reliably.

From what I remember it should.
Or else find an HLSD trans from a 6th gen Maxima since those cars have the same motor as this SE.
