Honda s2000

I feel the same about this s2k. Also comes with an uninstalled turbo kit.

2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i Limited, AWD

This is a steal

Something off about the seller. A bunch of 2012+ high(er) end cars listed in different cities, in the owner section. Be sure to do your due diligence.

Called the guy. He was very short with little to no information. Told him I would buy for asking price if he would drop the car off. He declined my offer :suspicious:

thumper 01-05-2015 12:55 PM

sadly it is expensive and a 4 door, but still rare (read: not a rustbucket) if you are into this sort of thing:

1969 DATSUN 510

Hmm...

Driven only in July and August in the sun, but the pics are all taken on a wet day... :suspicious:

Something about the body doesn't look "right".
Can't tell what it is since I am not a die hard 510 fan.
Something tells me this car doesn't qualify for collectors insurance and unfortunately, the market for 4 door 510's just ain't there at that price.

thumper 01-05-2015 01:02 PM

the bottom half of the car has skirts molded into the body.

fliptuner 01-05-2015 01:04 PM

WTF is up with the rear 1/4's, bumper and rockers on that thing? :heckno:

The rocker panels are wrong for starters. They should curve under the car slightly, but appear to go 'straight down'. it's subtle, but enough to throw the look off from the 3/4 front view.

The rear quarters are very wrong. They shouldn't extend straight down behind the rear wheels like that. the bumper should wrap around to the sides of the car. It's F-up in a big way.

I could handle the rocker panels, but those rear quarters are terrible. Wonder if it's sheet metal or fiberglass? No way this car qualifies for collector status. Wheels, missing door and rocker trim, tinted tail lights and lowered suspension all disqualify it...not to mention the body mods.

1999 Nissan Silvia Spec R

a little bit expensive, but lowest advertised mileage on a mostly stock spec-r in craigslist (at the moment)?

His Lexus is in the pictures, too.

I'd like to see that mileage proven.

The Focus *ST was one of them, especially when it was discussed here that it was not a rebuild but had some big previous damage. I confirmed with him on the phone that ALL cars he sells are rebuilds, even that Focus ST was one.

The ad says "it did a 180000 k". Not such a great buy in my opinion.

Renthal 01-05-2015 05:45 PM

hmm I posted this before.. but its still for sale.
might have to take a look.

01 mustard m3 vert 100k for 14g's. probably beat.

I love phoenix yellow. I wonder if its EVER had any maintenance done at that price. Usually people who put wheels that awful on the car aren't to into the whole taking care of a car thing, but who knows.

dared3vil0 01-05-2015 06:22 PM

Those wheels... Yikes.

thumper 01-05-2015 06:27 PM

the stock rims are included, and it has a manual transmission... i would give it a fighting chance and pay for the pre inspection.

having said that, seeing the oil cap just sitting there on the valve cover in the pic of the engine is kinda sketchy...

westopher 01-05-2015 06:34 PM

I'd base that on the vibe of the seller, but i agree, a PPI isn't much of a loss compared to the win owning a manual phoenix yellow M3 for 14k.
