theres this thing called over night courier. I send my docs and pre pay for return pick up for my clients...... and thats signing for McLaren etc. 30k on Cayman is moderate damage - on headlight alone is 4-5k. bumper skin is 1500. plus fender and maybe an oil cooler. It doesnt take much, even for back then. We had a client with a fender bender on a Mac... parts and labor added to about 250k. And that was not a carbon fibre bodied car. |

I bought my 911 from Pfaff Porsche in Toronto. They handled it all remotely, print and sign docs, scan and send them, wire transfer cash, arrange shipping company to pick up car, done. You probably want to have a reasonably high degree of trust in the dealer as you're not viewing the car in person and will be wiring them cash before the car leaves the dealership. |

Turn 3 in langley. Some of the other shops you can probably expect to be purchasing it before the inspection is finished if it looks good. |

having said that, sometimes proximity is needed for private seller PPI's. I was very satisfied w the report I got from Weissach when I bought my 996. They included scoping the cylinders, which is the main reason to PPI the car anyways. |

You will have to ship your trade first, which will take almost a month to get over there, then they gotta look at it and arrange shipping of the car you're buying. The whole process may take two months... which is a huge amount of time to move one car. Audi is a volume brand nowadays, so quick turn over is essential and they simply don't want to wait for your trade to arrive at their door step. shipping and logistics nowadays are a mess too for enclosed carriers, as we have been 3-6 weeks waits on our cars flowing from east to west or vice versa... plus the cost has went up to almost 3k one way nowadays. But I am quite surprised that they won't work with a dealer here in BC to flow a trade for you to save taxes. Maybe shoot me a PM on whats going on (which Audi Dealer and what trade) |

Man where are these vintage vans coming out of woodwork from? I swear I haven't seen one of these Caravan/Voyager things in atleast half a decade around these parts. |

First thing that comes to mind |
Classic video, but it’s a Geo Storm in the video… not the same car I think something must be very, very wrong with this Asuna because it even made a post on Radwood and dozens of guys including locals were salivating over it and it’s still there? I think the rust must be horrendously bad on it if one of them didn’t buy it last week. |
Chris Harris talks about "Handling by Lotus" on his last podcast. Pretty funny. The amount of money paid to lotus dictated how much work they did on these projects from just enough to pay for the badges up to actual help. Legend has it that even after receiving technical help that the suspension suggestions were often scrapped anyways (Hyundai Genesis). |
I talked my dad into a g80 two years ago. Awesome car for the money. I didn't know they scrapped Lotus's suggestions. It still handles well for such a fat comfortable car. |

seems like a solid buy even with mismatched gas door https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...7692638836017/ |
In today's artificially inflated price, this doesn't seem like a bad deal 2016 AMG GLA 45, $40K hot hatch, stage 2, 450hp, 63K kms, with some tasteful mods. Strange, it looks like it has out of province plates ... Quebec? https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...466342524.html https://images.craigslist.org/00W0W_...cA_600x450.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00w0w_...cr_600x450.jpg |
My buddy went to see that car, owner moved here somewhat recently but it spent almost all its life in Quebec and came here by train in Nov.2021 if I remember correctly... and he has not done the inspection to change it to being insured in BC... but otherwise he said it seemed like a solid ride, not much $$ for how much performance it has. It likely will NOT pass the provincial inspection though because it has a catless downpipe. He said it didn't look like it had been winter driven, no rusty bolts in the engine bay or anything. Alcantra was worn out on the steering wheel. A dent in the driver door and paint chips on the front bumper. |
Is it hard to pass the provincial inspection on stock car? |
