Yes maintenance is crazy but honestly they are pretty reliable for an exotic car. Get the ZF tranny and you'll be okay. If i were to do it all over again i would not have dealer serviced my GT. I would have just gone to a good reputable shop and would have saved thousands probably. Ultimately having it dealer serviced did not really add too too much to the resale. 1 owner, no accidents, and dealer serviced === 50k canadian on a car that cost me 140k in 2011 (i wanna die)

Facts. E46 M3 was my high school dream car. Drooled over the IS350 in university. Got both now in my mid-30s and they are relatively cheap.

I remember rich kids drove E90, A4, C class, and IS to university. I would struggle up the hill to SFU with my 130hp Corolla.

The parts alone are worth more than they are asking.
