Looks pretty rusty. |

Since no local wreckers are going to carry CRX's now, parts are hard to come by locally for people who need CRX parts. Def doesn't look like a car that someone should restore for collector plates. I should go over to the FB CRX chat and see what they are saying about this car. |
I'd rather bring a rust free CRX up from California. Lots under $3g. Lightweight hf for $400 would be perfect for swap. https://stockton.craigslist.org/cto/...487061124.html |
How the heck are you supposto get 44MPG on the 1/4 mile if you swap it.... |

Another "Is the price good? Who knows, but the car is cool" post https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...488166204.html |
How quickly would that car bankrupt me? |

One of those cars you buy where other car people are simultaneously jealous of you and glad that you saw it before they did. |
That’s a fantastic price for a shark nose. I wouldn’t even think about it, just grab it. The m30b35 is a super reliable motor, albeit a bit “tractorish”. Other than 35 year old maintenance issues it shouldn’t bankrupt you. Shared lots of driveline parts with the 5 series so online ordering isn’t bad other than body parts Edit: I had a e28 535iS so I’m bias. But cars like this are only going up as long as it’s not rusted to the tits |
Been for sale a while. Something tells me it's fuckered. |
The old sharknose doesn't haven't the same status as an E30, but it's from the same era, so it has the same virtues: bulletproof drivetrain and serviceability for the DIY mechanic. You buy a car like this because you enjoy old school motoring, you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty, and you can scour the globe for new/used parts to restore it. |
And it’s the right one to have. The m6 is awesome but the s38 is unfathomably expensive to rebuild when it pops. And if you get the older 630/633 cars they’re mostly euro imports and parts/suspension are unique to those cars, again can become a nightmare for for someone just getting in to ownership. |
Who would even have the skills or balls to attempt such a rebuild in Vancouver? |
Nothing good, manual, and cheap lasts in this market so caveat emptor. |

Same 2004 Blue EP3 with 85000km, mint condition on CL last month for less than 10K? here you go. lol |

I driven a $3k EP3 beater awhile back when the pandemic first started. It was pretty boring FeelsBadMan |

If he bought for $9-10k, plus tax that’s $11,200. He lists for $14.5k and he won’t get that. All that work and risk for $1-2k flip? That’s 10% return lol |
I don't know anybody willing to spend 10G on that car. There are so many better Hondas people would buy for same or less. |
