Are the LC500's fun to drive? There's a red one that always seem to drive by the Joyce area that I always seem to admire, seems quiet though.

2021 Rav4 Hybrid, 32K kms, $40K .. by the numbers I heard thrown around about this car, wait time etc., this seems reasonable. I dunno much about this car .. eg. trims, etc. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3592450828217/ |

^ Little bit suspicious talking to the guy... he works at Caprice/Kabani Auto based on the address he provided... kind of a shady... I know I'm maybe biased but I don't trust sales guys selling cars on the side (unless they're tofu lol)... and he seems hesitant to provide the VIN# and he says he bought it for his daughter but she is going to university and he's selling it personally outside the dealership... but I look at their ads online and their photos are all in the same spot that this car was photographed.

Anyone feeling like a gamble?
This could be a really good deal if the issue is minor or it could be a parts car. It's a facelft E39 V8 that looks super clean. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...493527087.html
2003 BMW 540i - $2,000

2003 bmw 540i
Put a new battery in car has an issue with some modules
Has new battery new continental tires looks clean
Could be a simple fix no space to keep it
The car is worth a lot more if fixed
Was running before I put a new battery in there
The car is super clean for its age paint no rust interior is extremely good condition for its age
2000$

“Could be a simple fix” translation = definitely not a simple fix and will most definitely evaporate your wallet

One thing that comes to mind is that on an E39, the traction control module is located in the engine bay, which means it overheats over time. This can cause the DSC and ABS lights to come on.

It's not a BMW if it doesn't have cooling problems.
