Any details? I haven't seen this car listed recently anywhere.

Certainly looks clean though.

Remind me to PM you if I ever get up the balls to pull the trigger on an air-cooled car. Its scary how many of the good looking 911s are in the same boat. You pretty much need to be willing to buy it sight unseen in this market if its priced decently, and so many are not as they are presented.
This isn't a good buy per se, but its sunday, raining, and I'm sure many of us are bored. Heres a pretty cool car for sale that no one on RS will buy.

1990 Honda Civic si

Rough idle and possibly spray bombed red. If in good condition elsewhere, good buy. Wired for subs, has aftermarket deck. Two sets of wheels for summer/winter.

Will be interesting to see what it brings. The seller is doing a long hood 964 RWB next. He found a low mileage 964 so he's got Porsche owners having a fit over using a clean example.

Will end up something like this:

My 2nd RWB Project 1989 Porsche 964 C4 backdate Raul Welt RWB Conversion Thread - Rennlist Discussion Forums

An owner on RL got the RWB treatment done on a 964 targa recently. He quickly turned around and sold it for about $20k profit!

westopher 01-11-2015 02:42 PM

I think its insane for anyone to buy an already built RWB car, especially at a cost premium. The coolest part about the car is the build process with nakai san. That said the car is gorgeous to look at.

68style 01-11-2015 03:06 PM

I feel a bit done with them to be honest, they all look the same, it's the craftmanship that's beautiful... but really it's all tacked on stuff, there are basically no engine mods and the suspension mods are just basic over the counter coil over stuff ie: absolutely no racing pedigree whatsoever.

320icar 01-11-2015 03:15 PM

That's the owners fault, not nakai-san

Ads like this make my blood boil. "give me lots of money, or I'm scrapping it for $200." You know what? Sell it to me for the $200 you greedy ****!

Yes, I'm fully aware they can try and sell it for reasonable money. I just think if you're going to rub it in my face that I'm overpaying by $600...F-You! :P

fliptuner 01-11-2015 08:45 PM

Lol, no doubt. If you can get $550 for it, I'm offering $600 ... tops.

It looks like they'd get $550 scrapping it (dealer giving them $300 credit or something). I'll be optimistic and guess they picked $950 since they know some idiot would lowball anyways.
