But would you buy that over a newer Evo X or STI

Dbone 10-14-2022 06:19 AM

Yeah, it's a fair point. I bought an almost new Evo X in 2010 for less than that (though they seem to have gone up in price as we devalue our currency).

It is a lot of fun driving around in a unique car though, so I can see why he's charging a premium.

Yes.

tofu1413 10-15-2022 11:20 AM

Yes.

Because the 6 was the last “group A” pedigree kind of EVO.

Golf R update:

Sold my trade in privately and tried a straight cash offer on the light blue car. Dealership won’t budge.

Oh well - something else will present itself eventually.

08 328XI Wagon 6MT

JDMDreams 10-16-2022 09:19 AM

It's pretty good, good colour, correct interior seats, gear box, motor. Lots of good mods too. Nothing Break My Wallet can't fix :lawl:

The Producer 10-16-2022 09:26 AM

it is a cool spec - but get ready to do everything, including dropping the whole front subframe to get at the oil pan.

AWD BMW never again. it'll just never stop leaking

Let them keep that over priced hatch. I hope they hold on to these things forever.

Not really, its like civics. They can go fast but it takes forever to get to speed.

trollface 10-18-2022 07:45 PM

It's usually the stopping or slamming into things part that kills you, not the getting up to speed part.

bcrdukes 10-18-2022 07:52 PM

If anything will kill you, trollface, is you working on BMW Z3s, not riding a scooter and slamming into trees.
