I think this RC F with 45,000km (140,000km fewer than the GS F) is a better option for a few grand more. Doesn't have the rarity of the GS F but it's accident free, in better shape, and still has the same engine and seats and in overall better condition.

^it is. The only problem was I think this one was an east coast import. Came from Halifax or something and I was worried it’ll be rusted out.

It’s been sitting there since may this year.

Yeah its fine, which is a 6/10. 9/10 doesn't have a hole in it.

I believe it's the same one. GS-F prices in general have gotten priced ridiculously somehow during the pandemic. Pre-pandemic, 50k-70k km examples went for mid 50s to low 60s. Now it's high 60s to high 70s

watch the market guys.

the lower mid end stuff are sitting around and have been watching prices softening up.

the beater market... has crashed. watched some curbers desperately trying to cut loose their stuff for cheap as they have had held onto it for too long with their stupid prices.

Is it safe to assume something similar will happen with enthusiast-oriented models but to a lesser degree?

Yeah, I'd treat it like real-estate in DT / FalseCreek / Mount Pleasant, last to drop and not by much. They're still limited and you can't suddenly make more more Supras or FK8 CTRs

It helps when cost of borrowing is so high. There are still dealers asking 44k for a used golf though. A blue one was looking it finally sold for 38 (asking 44).

These were 36k cars.

correct.

per say 997. sure may be a few k cheaper, but won't drop like bricks.

good example would be like wrx, civic si, Golf GTI/ R, stuff like that, those will see some good price cuts.

Been eyeing those 8 gen Si's and to a certain extent, B16 powered cars like Em1's and those are moving a bit slower

Nsx prices still post boom

Collector car prices will never drop, only when people start losing their homes

NA1 / NA2 won't be collapsing anytime soon. They will be holding if not creeping upwards.

NC1 though. those "standard" 17+ NSXes are softening on prices now.

NC1 softened a LOT... I track prices of NC1's often..

The 2022's are skyrocketing up being the last year, they're as much as $400k+ now in the USA...

But 2017-2019 models have lost at least $20-30,000 off their asking prices in the last 4 months... 2017 especially some are asking like $120k now in USA

At those prices they're a WAY better car than, say a 997.2 Porsche which is about the same money... just my opinion...

yeah, with the current trend on price drops on NC1, it is a much better proposition than most 992's on the market currently. More exotic looking than the 911 for sure.

sure its a numb feeling car to most and the SH-AWD is strange.. but the NC1 NSX is a tremendous performance bargain.

Great car, strange looks, I feel that the NC1 was a car a few years ahead of its time, hence the sales failure of it. Nowadays, all the stuff offered on the NC1 is now being offered on other super car brands (ferrari sf90/ 246, Mclaren artura etc)
