Did he buy 3 because none of them work? |
This may be anecdotal, but a lot of the one's I've seen appear to required engine replacements. I don't really have much faith in Fiat reliability. |

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...594307323.html haven't seen this pricing in a longggggggggggg time. |
Wow!! Looks clean... but shady dealer, high mileage, SMG... so much potential for "adventures" ...... adventures is also a synonym for massive headaches in this instance. |
as long as its not 10/10 on common e46 problems, I think its worth checking out. big ticket items being the SMG pump and the subframe.. other wise looks like it presents well on pictures. |
SMG just means not manual swapped yet |
If you're into this gen of WRX STI's, US import, 160K kms, tastefully modded, $15K. I don't know if it's a good deal but a fair ask for a collector like this? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6737967960133/ https://scontent.fcxh3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...oQ&oe=6405A938 |
if it isnt too rusty underneath.. looks like a nice car that deserves some elbow grease to put back to OEM + has kms on it already too, so can be driven an enjoyed. fair buy. |
gold bbs probably worth pretty coin now |
Can’t wait to see it on marketplace next week for $33,333 |
I've been thinking of buying an E46 m3 for a little while (it seems to correct a lot of the things I didn't like about the E36, but keeps a lot that I really miss), but At that price you may as well hang on a bit for the f80s to come down a little more. |
i don't think the buyer willing to spend 40k on an E46 M3 is really cross shopping it w a newer M car. You want it for what it specifically is or you don't. |
indeed. Pre E9X buyers are a very specific demographic compared to the latest two cars. completely different crowd. |
Completely different tax bracket too FeelsBadMan |
Yeah, maybe you're right. I was thinking, if you're buying a mint E46 M3 (so we're not talking 20k anymore), it's probably not your only car. It might have been in the past, and that was/is why the M3 is great. You can use it every day, and also have a fun car for the weekend. If it's only for fun, why not get the Z4m? If it's to go fast, why not an M2? The M2 and F80M3 are both heavier, but looking at the weight of today's cars.. not that much heavier. Meh, maybe I'm just butthurt that I didn't snag a good E46 when they were at 25kish. :) |
You should not get a z4m just because it shares no parts with anything. |

how can one replace the driving experience of the exige? like you said if it's for more practicality that's what your other vehicle is for |
Ah, the Exige is not going anywhere. I've been waiting for a replacement charge cooler (not from Lotus) for 3 months now and it has my eyes wandering. I'm driving around town way more these days, and want something I can put a kid into the back of but still have fun. When I moved to the island I made sure I had a three car garage.. it turns out the wife is happy parking in the driveway soooo...FeelsGoodMan |
^ The F80 M3 is a great family car if you have young young kids. Backwards car seat fits as long as you aren't 6' tall. Once the kids graduate to boosters then its 911 time. |
Ugh I know, but 911s are like 6 figures even for a 997.2 (which I'd love). |

If you neglect your kids, the govt will feed them for free. |
