house of Tofu has many NSX right now.

Gerbs 04-07-2023 11:26 AM

Seems decent for the US boyz, $100K. That T-Top is so sick.

House of tofu only has 1 NSX left…..

Since December, we sell more NSXes than Acura does.

How good or bad is the e90 cab as a diy owner?

Came across these 2:

2000 BMW 323 Conv, 116 Kms, manual, $12.9K

Nah, there's two in USA, similar year, miles, color, for 90kusd each, and they have been for sale for over a year

100kusd is the Canada tax price, and someone will probably pay it

Tapioca 04-08-2023 11:12 AM

That 323ci is probably a flip because I saw a very similar example from Port Moody on Marketplace last year that was listed for 7K.

The 323ci convertible was a 1 year only model with the oddball M52tu engine. Different exhaust and intake on those engines. I would go with a 2001+ car with the M54 engine with the throatier exhaust.

JDMDreams 04-08-2023 11:27 AM

I dunno why you would just not buy a m3 if you're gonna spend $15k on a e46

bcrdukes 04-08-2023 11:30 AM

Please find us a $15K E46 M3 in this day and age.

jaaagman 04-08-2023 12:02 PM

$15k is really steep, well into E90 territory, but $15k ain't gonna get you an M3 unless if its a high mileage SMG cabriolet.

JDMDreams 04-08-2023 12:07 PM

I mean if you're gonna spend $15 on a base, m3 isn't that much of a stretch

This is rebuilt so I'm sure there's room to negotiate

bcuzracecarz 04-08-2023 12:19 PM

I’ve spent time with both and would rather daily a manual 330i vert over an M3 all day, especially an SmG one with 200k kms

Traum 04-08-2023 05:42 PM

2017 Cayman S (Porsche) CPO lease takeover
47k km odo
$69k + tax buyout now
$1055 tax included monthly payment
$60k + tax buyout in April 2024
black on black

It has some interesting options:

- PDK
- seat ventilation -- I tried this before and it is a god-send in the summer!
- Sport Chrono
- PASM
- Burmester audio

Pics from the ad looks like shxt though LOL~

15k for a 20+ year old 330ci does seem like a lot, but that just seems to be the market now. Even sub 10k NA miatas are becoming more rare if it's not smashed to bits. An extra 10k for an M3 is not "isn't that much more".

JDMDreams 04-08-2023 11:12 PM

^^ I doubt this market will last, I feel like it's collapsed already there's a lot more cheap beaters on the market, that's sitting for much longer, these are just dreamers with their top dollar pricing. Given how interest rates are and economy as a whole I doubt there's a bunch of guys lining up to throw $15k on a none M e46

trollface 04-09-2023 08:46 AM

It's funny cuz I know there were a ton of ppl that paid 46k+ for Golf Rs that are now 39.

Imagine pissing away 7k cuz you were too horny to wait a few months.

Not bad. 24k for a 2007 sc430. Only problem is it’s 172,000kms.

The market for used cars sucks right now.

The E46 is a good chassis, but sometimes you see E30s within reach, like this one:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH

It doesn't have the plastic bumpers, but any E30 that isn't beat up and rusty has instant respect.

headhunt3r 04-09-2023 09:38 AM

All the discussion made me look at the wider field, and the options for a 4 seater manual convertible that's remotely fun to drive are super limited. At around the ~10-15k budget, I'm either looking at a E46/E90, a S197 Mustang, and then it drops off real quick to something like a Beetle or a Cooper. Wranglers are also overpriced right now.

JDMDreams 04-09-2023 10:12 AM

G37 vert buddy guy, it's hard cuz manuel and the back seats are pretty much useless in a 4 seat vert.

Badhobz 04-09-2023 10:58 AM

I never drove the mustang GT vert, but I drove the v6 before in Hawaii and it was a fine car. Back seats are uhhh semi usable and dynamics are decent. You don’t lose out much compared to the coupe.

They used to be quite cheap even brand new. I figured used prices must be decent on that mustang.

I think the SC is a flip I recall seeing that colour combo before for like 19? Seemed like a good deal at that price

320icar 04-09-2023 11:15 AM

^^ was that your actual seating position? You couldn’t fit someone behind you to save your life

Badhobz 04-09-2023 01:27 PM

Yeah I’m 6’2. I can’t find diddly shit behind me for most cars.

That's cuz you poor. You'd have no problems if you could afford maybach or the long wheel base versions of cars :smug:

Badhobz 04-09-2023 03:56 PM
