Oh I see ... Blin Maloku is the guy on FB Marketplace selling that set of tires/wheels.

So I could get these and won't meet you in person.

My brother in christ...

A) That item has been listed for 9 weeks and hasn't sold yet, thats flag 1
B) None of the pictures show the production date of the tire, flag 2
C) Title of post is CrossClimate2 but from the images of the sidewall I see, those look like the original version of the CrossClimates. I could be mistaken as the picture quality is crud but I don't see a single one sidewall picture that indicates they are the current versions (The text/font changed significantly from version 1 to 2)

I mean I could randomly pop out of the bush like trollface. But chances are pretty low considering how big of a bush you need to hide this troll.

punkwax 08-15-2023 05:53 PM

Hehe hobz needs a big bush.

Seems like a real good deal ... if you drive VW/Audi. A set of Cross Climates on VW rims - $1200. Some scratches/rash but nothing a bit of sandpaper and black spray paint can't fix. Who was it on the tire thread that's a BIG fan of the CC?

These are only CC 1's. You can see in some of the pics where is says Cross Climate there is no "2" beside the name.

supafamous 08-16-2023 07:53 AM

Not technically a "good" buy but one of my fav Porsche colours. Seen it cruising around town a few times, it's gorgeous.

68style 08-16-2023 08:17 AM

Beautiful colour!!!!... horrifying price... it's not even new!

trollface 08-16-2023 11:38 AM

It would cost even more if it was Porsche's version of "used".

Badhobz 08-16-2023 12:21 PM

Why would anyone want a spyder in Vancouver ? It rains like over half the year and the rest of time it’s too hot or impractical to keep the top always down. Even leaving it to grab something you would feel a bit timid with the top down.

A manual top is the stupidest shit ever. Get a 718 GTS and save a few bucks

radeonboy 08-16-2023 12:42 PM

One of my friends just picked up a new Spyder and his rationale is 'it's the last of the gas-powered Boxsters' and wanted a more unique bodystyle. It's his fun car and finds the manual top process more intimate.

There's no logical rationale when it comes to these P-cars I suppose, but if I had the budget for a GTS I think I would also stretch it to get a Spyder.

The top, from what I've seen, isn't that bad to work with. If you've got a garage it's pretty workable (having been a 2 time Miata owner for reference). There's a guy who leaves near Metrotown that dailies his 718 Spyder to downtown every day - kudos to him though he usually has the top up.

Badhobz 08-16-2023 01:00 PM

I think it’ll be fun for all of 5 minutes putting on that manual top. Ugh… you pay more money for less functionality

bokch0y 08-16-2023 01:09 PM

Personally, like that blue colour.

trollface 08-16-2023 01:20 PM

It looks fucking sick that's why.

Id'get one.

Badhobz 08-16-2023 01:36 PM

Yah ? How’s that golf R of yours doing.

JDMDreams 08-16-2023 01:42 PM

Yea it's way too hot and roasty for top down. I'm dying with my none working AC like a poor person :okay:

I feel like normal Cayman prices -- ie. base and S -- are starting to drop, but GTS / GT4 and pretty much *any* 911 from 997.2 and newer have continued to remain at insane prices. Esp with the newer 992, their prices are just completely beyond my reach.

In the past, I used to dream that a used 911 is almost within reach. But now, there is just no hope at all unless I score it big with 649.

When regular civics are starting at 30k, and stupid run of the mill minivan are almost 100k, it makes these Porsches look relatively cheap. New car prices are so insane that the average consumer is spending 50-60k on what used to be 30-40k

Take for example that maserati GT. The fully loaded top of the line one is 330k. I wouldn’t wanna be paying that nowadays but reflecting back to 2010 when I bought mine for 170k, maybe it was the equivalent spending power as the 330k. Inflation sucks.

Bud. How do you casually drop that you have a GranTurismo and then not post any pics?!
