Have you priced a set of tires for your LC lately? $700 a pop?

21 inch, 295 width michelin super sports or ps4 !? they quoted me 1500 each :suspicious:

im gonna just drive it to T&T and Dolar only. This way i should be able to get at least 10 years out of these 300 treadwear rated tires. 4Head

i like it - but it's a bit high w current S52 shoe pricing.

I agree w Jon's assessment:

This seems like a nice coupe with a good, long-term owner. It's a sunroof-delete and an original Canadian-market car. It's mostly stock outisde of a couple bolt-ons. The price translates to about $43k USD which seems a little optimistic.

CL is doing super weird things w mileage lately. It's like it's doing some kind of miles to km conversion in a bunch of ads. Not sure why this is happening so often.

If I buy a set of Michelin cc2 or defenders for my compact ecobox, it cost less than what your one tire cost jfc

trollface 08-31-2023 12:52 PM

Paid $305 for a new set of four, delivered to my door.

I know what you mean, I've seen it too... however in this case I was just making fun of how high the price was :D

Low km manual Honda CRZ for 11k. Located in Nanaimo.https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH

whitev70r 09-04-2023 06:37 PM

Don't know what to think, it is pretty pristine, low mileage but I guess if you are a collector. 78 Civic with just 90K kms, manual with all of 52hp, $15,300.

$30k. 1994 RX7 LHD. Current owner bought it in 1998. Local car, mostly garage kept.
Haven't seen one priced this low for years.

The Producer 09-05-2023 07:46 AM

saw this last week - really surprised it hasn't sold.

it's tired, but it's certainly saveable. I'd rather have this than any condition RHD car.

Dbone 09-05-2023 08:01 AM

Why?

It doesn't take long to get used to RHD. I hardly even think about it anymore.

Only issue is overtaking on 2 lane roads.

trollface 09-05-2023 12:04 PM

How savage is it turning left with a car on incoming doing the same thing?

The Producer 09-05-2023 12:09 PM

weird donk fail but OK

all I said was I wouldn't buy a RHD car if the same model was available in LHD. there are several reasons why.

cool car - I hope somebody here buys it. i was merely surprised that it lasted more than a few hours. this is an absolute halo car for under 30 grand? cheap.

trollface 09-05-2023 12:36 PM

If only it were viper green.

whitev70r 09-05-2023 02:01 PM

A little bit more reasonable than previous one asking for like close to $70K, this one is $57.5K.
2023 Toyota Corolla GR ... says auto in the listing but must be wrong, it has to be manual.

I believe the Circuit referenced in the ad is sold, so just the Core left.

Now says pending.
I have my rx8, only because I can't afford 7FailFish

bcrdukes 09-05-2023 08:44 PM

Do you mean you cannot afford a 7th RX8 or you cannot afford an RX7? :troll:

(kidding kidding)

That's still a $10k markup.

radeonboy 09-06-2023 09:08 AM

One of my friends reached out to the dealer when both were available yesterday - was told both the Core and Circuit were available at MSRP plus the 2 accessories + dealer fees. The price in the ad is for the Circuit. Forgot to ask if a trade is required.

My friend couldn't make it to the dealer on time for the circuit - someone did a spot delivery on that unit yesterday afternoon.

Badhobz 09-06-2023 09:43 AM

its probably because the bloody interest rates are at like 8.9% and nobody in the right mind is gonna lease/finance these. That leaves a tiny section of the buying public that can / will throw 60k cash down for a corolla

JDMDreams 09-06-2023 10:48 AM

Would you not have a rx7 and a Subaru hatch for the price of one gr lol:pokerface:

bcrdukes 09-06-2023 12:23 PM

I imagine everyone buying up GT3 allocations like no problem here on this forum
