2007 Porsche 911 -- aka 997.1 C2
$65k
116k km
ex-US car

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH

https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...yQ&oe=64FEE13D

Looks like a really solid 997, with lots of quality aftermarket parts, complete with service and everything.

At this price, and with all the included goodies, it is a super solid deal.

Why do I not have an extra parking space?

Is that plate a photoshop? If it's not that's a very good plate.

And I thought you had no money lol. I wish I had 65k to drop on a new toy.

Traum 09-06-2023 08:24 PM

It is a super awesome plate -- all the photos have the same plate, so it is very likely a legit one.

And you are absolutely correct that I have no money, but that doesn't change how I would still drool over a solid deal on what appears to be a really solid car, right?

SkunkWorks 09-06-2023 08:56 PM

$65k for a 997.1 C2 (not S) isn't really what I'd call a good deal imo

JDMDreams 09-06-2023 09:00 PM

I can make parking space but I has no money's :okay:

If you look at the current market though, that's roughly where prices are for the coupes. This one is quite similar:

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/.../19_12631584_/

and claims to have photos from 2 years ago to show no signs of bore scoring.

When you add the aftermarket parts -- the Apex forged wheels alone are like $3 - $4k already, that's where the value proposition really comes in. Ohlins + Numeric shifter cables, Tarett Engineering wheel studs. These are good parts, man.

You can certainly get something cheaper, but then things starts to get a little iffy.

fliptuner 09-07-2023 12:26 AM

I have a new soft top on the frame, for that NB, if anyone here buys it

trollface 09-07-2023 07:01 AM

Market value is the new, "I know what I have".

Dbone 09-07-2023 09:40 AM

If you're going to spend the money to get a 997 over a 996 then get a 997.2.

Not really.

I've been following the market as I'm looking for a 997 c2s right now. Even in the 60s they're not exactly flying off the shelves.

Sure mods add value if you're going to do them as well but at 65 for a non-s you're practically paying full retail for those bits and then some over a comparable stock example.
