I've put collector plates on like 7 cars now? Got rejected 1 time.

They have changed in the last 5 years, they're less astute now, the most experienced guy (there are only 2 of them) left so I think it's a little bit wild wild west up in there now.

How do you guys get the proof of 1500 units? Manufactures and dealers don't seem to be willing to officially write a letter. Or they give some generic we only know #s for Canada but not world wide.

On a side note I wish colours could qualify for collectors. The Rallye Red CTR was only made for Canada for MY18 and there are only 80 in Canada.

There's probably 6 or 7 in the lower mainland tho lol

You'd be in for the long run anyway, it only cuts 10 years off your eligibility, needs to be 15 years old for that

What car is it going on? Great wheels made by Rays, unfortunately that it's only 8" wide.

Often icbc does not look at models differently. The civic type R would just be a civic, which they made 200k of. Same issue with the RS I believe to icbc it’s still ‘just a focus’ and one of fords best selling cars

Just a Mazda 3 Turbo, nothing crazy. Currently running some Enkei's that are 18x8 as well, so these would stay compatible with my existing tires.

Was originally thinking of getting some more "end game" wheels, so was looking at what was available on FB.

Now I'm debating if I want these or something else like the Works ZR10s. $2000 for a full set of forged wheels seems like a good deal. Was just posting it here for confirmation since I'm not that familiar with used wheel pricing.

Hyundai Canada sent this verification email to me that confirms the year / make / model / trim / and < 1,500 production worldwide. They cancelled the veloster production by 2022. Whether this works, who knows.

I don't know if these wheels would fit the design language of the new Mazda. The new Mazda 3 seems to beg for more spokes and more detailed designs.

Great price, but bolt pattern is off.

Yeah, I got fucking excited for a second when I saw the pics, then I saw the bolt patterns, lol.

Part # : 0000-04-5807
@ WHEEL, RAYS (TCR)
Notes:18x10J +40 5-114 hub bore

They got these for $273.12 USD per wheel though. Not sure which ones these are.

I think they might be these TE37s.

EDIT: Did some more digging and some Spec MX-5 wheels that are $339 USD.

Part # : 0000-04-5706-GM
@ WHEEL, RAYS(SPEC MX-5)
Notes:67.1MM HUBCENTRIC FORGED

Looks like these ones are ZE40s 17x8.5" +45 5x114.3 67.1 so will fit my Mazda.

https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?p=10355320

I think I might try buying a set and see what happens, lol.

Thanks twitchyzero.

Yah he said he wished colours qualified. Even model is dicey as 320icar alluded to above.

(modded) 2007 Porsche Cayman S
6 speed manual
120k miles (California car)
asking $32k

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...0885072591107/

Yes, there are quite a few mods on the car, but they all appear to be quality pieces that are driver-focused. And the car appears to be well kept as well. But I suspect the car will be on the loud side with the Fab Speed exhaust. (But stock exhaust is included as well.)

Get a bore inspection done, and assuming that it passes, it should be a really fun car.

can vouch - car belongs to a buddy who's doing a fall fleet reduction. He looked at a lot of cars before deciding on this one.

well priced Mk6 Golf R and a cheap MCS for sale too.
