Spoiler!
This car belongs to a fellow RS member which he bought off another RS member a few years ago.

If you had the money for a weekend/track car then this would fit the bill. Hard to justify it as a DD car. A lot of money went into building it.

I've seen the car around bcit a lot, it's immaculate. Very clean car with lots of goodies, but kind of hard to justify 7k for an older miata.

Price may be cheap, but potential buyers should look at the cost of tires before thinking about it. I seem to recall the military spec tires are far from affordable.

Considering the motor alone probably has more than 10k worth of work put into it I'd say it's a good deal and was considering it when the previous owner still had it whole and not missing some key parts like it is now. Still a decent deal IMO

You'd be surprised how affordable you can find surplus tires for.

Quite possible. I just know that for Kubelwagen's and Schwimwagens the original 16" military tire is ridiculously hard to find, and priced accordingly. I've also been involved in a Pinzgauer 6x6, and it turned out that we simply had to do 10-ply truck tires in a 'close-enough' size to make it affordable. In the Pinz case, however, we couldn't use surplus/used tires as it was being used in a commercial operation.

Make sure she calculates in 12% tax savings on the trade-in amount when deciding what to let it go for privately!
