That itr is a steal, fix the motor and it's a quick flip. Or if you want, you get basically a brand new ITR for around 8k.

Clean title ITR 5k? What a deal. Wish it had the original front end or parts though.

Lol what a rediculous comparison. Dogs can be stinky, but they aren't a smoky stench that penetrates fabrics.

No, the smell of dog is almost as unbearable as smoke. My dad's truck, although never thoroughly cleaned, stinks of dog. Although the dog coming into the truck wet a lot doesn't help. But as soon as you open the door you can smell dog.

If it was a dog and fabric that would be one thing, but i don't think it would be the same case for leather.

I wouldn't let a post saying a the owner has a dog stop me from checking out the car. Some dogs don't smell or only smells faintly. Plus, you can always try to thoroughly detail the car, which most likely I would do anyways. If the deal is good, I would still check out the car.

I have a waterproof backed alcantara mat that matches my interior for my dog. I can assure you he's no problem for the quality of my car's interior. Either way, he smells better than the average human since he gets his coconut oil rubdown to keep his coat nice and smooth. The guy is living in luxury. It's easy to clean the smell of stuff like that out of the seat anyways, smoke gets all the way into the foam and never comes out.

The only concern i'd ever have with a dog would be claw marks on plastics/leather. Stinky dog? We don't live in the arctic, it's not a stinky sled dog. Not too many dogs live outside these days either, well not in this neighbourhood. If it was to the point that it could not be cleaned, it would be a rare case.

okay, i love dogs and i did not mean to come across as a dog hater. maybe this dog is fine and maybe i have been unlucky, but like someone already posted, i also have had the misfortune of being in a car that has transported a wet dog. the smell was just awful and there was dog hair in every nook and cranny of the interior. a friend has one that loves chewing on seatbelts. i also know this girl with a with a black leather interior covered in white scratches from claw marks. i'm talking the top of the door cards, the centre console, seats, everything. her toy dog also took a piss in the footwell carpet because she left it in the car too long while she was shopping that no amount of professional cleaning agents could get the smell out. they told her they would have to replace the carpet because it has soaked into the underlay. her response was that she would dump a bottle of febreeze in the car when the lease expires and hope they won't notice

I've got a '71 Sprinter... never even seen a wagon variant before. That said, he's asking way too much money for a hard project with NO parts availability (body-wise anyway).
