Old tech is correct. The roadster, model s, model x used the 18650 batteries which were “off the shelf” batteries. Prone to an early death. The interiors of the older cars were awful too.

2.4 is probably the 2AZ, some years had issues, but overall a slow and noisy but reliable engine
