I can't think of much. Maybe a nb? But Miata prices still seem pretty stupid. Kinda want a smaller mt hot hatch to scratch my Mt itch. But not many to choose from. All my cars are v8 barges right now. All of the 2000s cars are either beat or stupidly priced. Rsx, dc5, dc2. Csx is like $15000 still for some reason and they are all over 200k km. Maybe a 128? But have to deal with BMW problems. Maybe something jdm? But nothing really catches my eye right now. I hate the brz, it's so small and uncomfortable, very claustrophobic and worse than 350z, s2000 is too $$ and I rather try to c6 for the money. Everytime I look into Subarus it's head gaskets, or spun bearings, might as well get a BMW then

Join the dark side, get a c6 for 25k

Or z4 3.0 for half the price, but you may find it too small

before you laugh your tits off, the northstar CAN be made reliable.... i think. at least online there's a couple of dudes who has lists of parts to replace to make it reliable

2011 Maserati Quattroporte S (4.7L) - $40,000
40k is a wee bit high (ideally be 30k), but i mean these were 150k cars and that 4.7 is orgasmic.

Yea I went and drove that one, it’s the definition of beat, duct tape holding on the gas filler door. Once you deal with dealer fees, taxes, you’re over 30 for a pile of shit

S2k for 17k CAD come up for sale pretty frequently just south of the border or in SoCal. 110k KMs ish, 10VIN is possible; I posted one in the s2k group chat last week.

Isn't it not worth it to import USA cars at least for many years since our currency has been so shit. Taxes etc. I wonder how hard it will be to do a rhd to lhd conversion.

I never was interested in the older mustang's. The newer 5.0 is nice but then you'll be a mustang driver. Even all the c5/c6 are all sold by Buddy guys. I haven't seen any boomer owned ones.

I think that mas has been $40k firm for a long time. I think it will be a hard sell as demand isn't high and jdm ones are flooding the market at like $20000. Along with Bentleys

By the time the Northstar went to RWD, it was way more reliable. I always wanted an SRX with the Northstar. 320hp lifted wagon baby.

But my issue with these heavily depreciated V8 cars is that they often fall into ghetto hands and maintenance is as elusive as Atlantis itself.

i read it was just headbolts that like to come out and head gaskets. So apparently there is this fix where you get this stencil and drill new head bolts into the AL-NEW-MINIUM.

Still for 6k, drive it till it blows up or until the cops find those dead hookers you have in the trunk

2013 E63 AMG Wagon posted a few hours ago. Excellent price given the low 65,000km and the rarity of the wagon version. As long as the carfax is clean or only minor claims it's a great buy.

Very tempting but just too similar to the car I already have and I have a slight preference to the naturally aspirated engine.

CLK63 is going on BaT in the spring so garage space is opening up and I'd honestly buy almost anything. I'd love an Integra Type R or E46 M3. A Porsche that I actually like is too expensive. No Maseratis lol.

The E63 isn't going anywhere. Sounds awesome, great hydraulic steering, not too stiff of a ride, and I love how it looks. To quote Chris Harris a decade back "The E63 is my favourite big fast saloon car".

^ As a comp to that 2013 E63 AMG Wagon, here is another one available. This one is 2012 and asking for a LOT more ($50K) but hey, maybe you can say one was just sold at $37K? Why are these all in Richmond and about 65K kms ?
