More so than lots of other cars, cheap Porsches have the tendencies to become the most expensive ones.

Axles / AC often go bad on these ... AFAIk the 6MT only has OEM axles available, which run about $800-1k a pop. Not to mention it's at a mileage that might need a timing chain soon ish

JDMDreams 01-30-2024 12:46 PM

How much is a timing chain? I think a timing belt on v8 Toyotas are about $1500 now a days

I was a former lot guy at that dealership, place has gone downhill, they really went the stealership route when they figured out no one buys Mitsubishis.

tofu1413 01-31-2024 08:35 AM

quite digging the Saddle brown interior but looks quite strange to run E60 5er M sport wheels on the E91.

snowfarmer 01-31-2024 08:53 AM

I don't mind the look of those wheels on it. One of the things I have observed about owning BMW's, there is always a huge amount of used OEM wheels for sale and they're often dirt cheap. Easy to find something that is OE, good fitment and has the right look.

I've spent way more time than I care to remember perusing this site to find the wheels for all of my BMW hoopties.

They got bought out by go auto. The kings of used shit kicked Alberta cars.

Amazingly Go Auto also bought out Cowell at the Richmond Automall. Not sure if the sale changed the sales process there, but I had positive experiences with the Cowell dealerships back in the day.

Lol Cowell VW can pound sand. Somehow they got a 2023 RAV4 Prime SE with 170km back in July 2023, Alberta car, and priced it at 70k? GTFO

I go in for a test drive and they only let me because I had a 22 Prius Prime and I was going trade in (absolutely not...). At least got to try out the RAV4.

That PA had the worst are you kidding me face when I told her how much I wanted for my trade.

snowfarmer 01-31-2024 03:22 PM

Maybe the market is coming off the craziness of the COVID times but I think if you listed a 6MT E91, you'd get a lot of responses

Edit, that BMW wagon I posted is already listed as pending. that was quick.
