Heard Cowell in general was decent to work for, so I guess Go auto came in just did a major sweep. :suspicious: |
Go auto pays their sales people a flat rate of $500 per vehicle sale. Who would stick around for that kind of pay cut. |
$500 flats to sell a $200k full size range :fuckthatshit: |
https://www.autotrader.ca/a/mazda/mx...x=50&modalXS=1 Not sure if this is rebuilt titled car, but the frontend panel gaps look pretty bad and the rear bumper alignment looks odd. A normal Mazdaspeed would cost twice as much I suppose... Edit - Nvm, price was bumped up from ~9k to 15k |
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ibextid=dXMIcH Not sure if good buy but dat depreciation, too bad we never got the range extender rotary version |

If you (or friend) are looking for a usable EV for around town, commute to work, grocery getter ... I'm seeing the BMW i3 with range extenders for like $13K for sale. With range extender, it has range for like 240 kms ... but account for battery degradation ~200 kms, which isn't bad. Apparently, it is made with some high end trimmings, was like $45K when new. The range extender is a weird concept, gasoline engine that is used to generate electricity to run the EV (not to run an ICE engine to run the car). I have a friend who had one as an early adapter back when it came out and he speaks very highly of it. Something like this would be a great 2nd car, not something to go to Whistler or Seattle, too small anyways. Got that weird rear door that opens ... but I guess it gives you a big opening. Maybe someone who actually has one can chime in with real life experience and tell us whether it is the above or another BMW high maintenance vehicle. On paper and by reviews, it seems good for commuter. For example, 2014, 105K Kms, $13K, with a 2nd set of wheels & Tires. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8925244076706/ https://scontent.fcxh3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...gw&oe=65C9584E |
I don't know how you can be proud driving that, my buddy had one years ago for his wife's business, unique car to stand out when wrapped... it literally has bicycle tires on it lol they're 155's!!!! I used to have this dream that someone would drive one around a giant pizza cutting it up into slices with the wheels. It got weird. |
I think there is an RS member on here who has the i3. I forget his username but he was also very happy with it given his use case. I think his username is cafe22. |

Yeah ! Like that e bike I have in the garage. Proud it only has 25kms on it. |
100,000 people in Richmond disagree with you on the Model 3 analogy lol |
How's the e-Golf as a local commuter car? I see some going for less than $25k. |

Seems like great value for $10k! |
