If your only reasoning when purchasing a vehicle is its performance on paper, then I suggest you buy a GTR or a Corvette. Best value per dollar. Styling, nostalgia, so many other things to look at when buying a car. |
$12k is really really steep for a roller, that dude is going to have to change his attitude on his price if he wants to sell it... if it's a roller for a swap there's not much prestige to it being a 325i or is... just as easily grab a 318 |

E36 is when BMW started to use recyclable plastics, which is probably why their interiors have withered away and fallen off the panels over time. Plus, it's very hard to find non-clapped out examples nowadays. |
I've only sat in e30 briefly for a test drive and it was tiny, compared to cars like 10 years ago. I guess I've only been into the crap ones, owned multiple e36, e39, e53, driven plenty of e46s and later x1, e93 all has varying levels of crap plastic that will nickel and dime you to death. |
IMO E9x is probably THE worst generation for interior plastics, the equivalent garbage Porsche interior is probably the 996/997 generation. From the above posts that E30 interior still holds up, it's probably made with a process or chemicals that is now banned for being toxic or carcinogenic or both. |

The E36 has the signature carcinogenic BMW smell. I think it's the crayon smell. |
Every Jetta I’ve sat in smells like crayons. |

2016 Subaru BRZ $18.6k 78k km https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...7490484356488/ https://scontent.fyvr3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...xg&oe=65E1A54E Disclaimer -- I know the owner through autox. If you have autox-ed in the last few years, you probably know the owner too. Price appears to be par for what other similar BRZ / gen 1 86 are asking for. Plus for a well-sorted out car. Minus for the pass side quarter panel dent -- I wonder if it can be fixed, or at least made to look better with paintless dent repair? |
I wonder if Benny is expecting and the 2 door needs to go...... |
2008 v8 R8 manual 56000 km for just under 100 grand. https://www.facebook.com/share/dismp...ibextid=kL3p88 |

Decent winter beater ... but we don't get winters anymore. 2012 Forester XT, 178K kms, $8700. Looks like it could use a detail but decent asking price. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...2562955697203/ https://scontent.fcxh3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Cw&oe=65E1F56E |
I don't know man, 178k on that EJ is just trouble waiting to happen. And the 5EAT is known to be weak as well. |
