Wait it has an S54 and you can snag it for under 30k? Damn... I was keeping an eye out for something like that for a few years and couldn't find a decent one. That would be a ton of fun. |
That’s not crazy pricing at all even with the market dropping a bit. It’s an s54 car in a rare colour. I don’t think it’ll sit for long under 30k now |

28 grand. the roof is worth a lot too. Might be a pain to sell, but if you didn't want it - would offset the cost by quite a bit. This is a ton of M car for under 30k If this was an PY E46M3 with under 200k kms for under 30k everybody would be tripping balls over it. EDIT: Jon Martin - Zed expert sums up the car pretty well here: Quote:

What's wrong with it? I think it is e30s rear. But it has been selling for like years. |

Mine was similarly clean, a ton of maintenance records and 'bulletproofed'. States buyers just have a lot more appetite for 160/200k km+ cars |

Maybe 1in30 in that year, in that colour, in that interior, Canadian spec. Quote:
At my comfortable seating position I find the shifter be too high. If I raise the seat then the top of the windshield pillar is at my sight line. But this is just me. The color is… let’s say bearable. I can picture myself in that colour short term and will be wanting to wrap next summer. Another expense. Lastly, I have a change of heart on the direction I want to relive my childhood dream car ownership. I want to go full boy ricer vs oem+ weekend cruiser. Seller reached out again this morning to see if $24k will change my mind. |

he should just reach out to a dealer - would look pretty great in front of a showroom coming into summer |
I mean, I don't pretend to be a BMW expert when it comes to spec... but I see quite a few $16-18k usd sales on BAT with half the mileage of this one (~62k miles on a couple of them)... which is $21-24k cdn, so it's in the ballpark at that price. |

this car really can't compare to earlier S52 cars in terms of pricing. |
Ahhh yes I knew there was something I was missing, thank you. S54 is definitely a huge improvement. |

I still think it's hard to sell $15000+ cars, those are cars in normal people budget, but in this market % rate etc, normal people aren't looking to spend that on a 20 year old convertible. People with bigger budgets $50000+ isn't looking at cars in this price/ age/ performance level |
just watched this before opening this page https://youtu.be/hkpFoliyNBU?si=W30ragz7hYC2l9sW&t=525 s54 was only offered for 2 years in the coupe, same for roadster? 24k is a total bargain |
Happy 10 year anniversary to this thread!! :toot: :teach: |

I bought a $4K example, but these 90s/2000s era BMWs appeal to me because I have a garage, can turn a wrench, and I'm not reliant on a half-broken, oil leaking BMW for daily transportation. My example gets looks everywhere I go too. |

Seems like a good buy ... 2004 BMW m3 vert 6spd manual, e46, 260K kms, not modded, 3.2l, S54 under the hood, 333 hp, $18K. Reasonable entry into the m photoshoot. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3606197889809/ https://scontent.fcxh3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...zA&oe=6630C189 |

^ haha ... I didn't even scroll that far to see it. I just saw the first 5-7 pics. |
Looks clean! |
I had a hard time not laughing last night, I went to pick up car parts from a guy named Manuel and when I got there he asked me if my Supra was a manual. I wanted so badly to say "Yes my Supra is a you" but it just didn't seem like a good idea with a guy I don't even know lolol |
Anyone actually looking for a beater? Client has a point A to point B 2008 Chevy Colbalt Auto 170,000 KM, think he is looking for $1,000 been his daily for the last 18 months. I am not associated or getting anything out of it. He bought an used car from us and my manager was only willing to give him in the low hundreds and he was like... ya... no lol |
Manual? |
