^The Evoque Convertible is more your style IMO.

Badhobz 05-10-2024 07:43 PM

wut!? you crazy! it'll break down.

Murano is indestructible. NISSAN CVT failures!? who's ever heard of such a thing.

Plus ill instantly put huge gawdy ass wheels on it (BRIGHT ASS GOLD) a giant wing, and roll it into HOLT Renfrew to valet it. Its more rare than an F40 bitches!!!

Ya - this is a decent buy. Little clean up needed but overall well kept by a long time owner

This car’s been around my neighbourhood for ages. Love north shore long time owner cars.

Thanks! I’ve totally forgot to check Craigslist lol. Ive seen that car on sale a couple years ago but the timing didn’t work out. I’ll send him a message.

Good lord BMW did some awful thing with "wood grain" interiors in the 90's / 2000's

Badhobz 05-13-2024 05:58 AM

^better than the garbage they making these days. They can take that crystal knob and shove it right up their asses

underscore 05-13-2024 07:47 AM

I've always disliked wood trim but the new piano black stuff puts it to shame. How the instant scratch fingerprint displayer keeps getting a green light is beyond me.

Cost and looks good when brand new on delivery day.

It was the thing back in the day, everyone did it. You should see the stick on kits for Toyotas and Hondas, those were the true abominations

Spyballoon would sap up all the crystal shit I bet. Then she'd shove it up your ass.

My wife thinks it's atrocious and tacky as hell. I married a good one.

The nice ones are out of my budget and there doesn’t seem to be much selection out there.

No man. I was trying to buy her that x5 loaded with all that crystal shit and she’s like why does it look so tacky ?

I helped a coworker spec an X7 and he skipped the loaded trim specifically to avoid the Crystal shifter (and the quilted leather). Maybe it's a west vs. east preference for stuff like this.

looks OK - ya, accident history, but it's been here a long time. look how old those plates are!

nice to see such an original example. Engine bay sure needs an afternoon of cleaning.

could be worth putting eyes on, even if it was just to guage what the cheapest M3 has to offer in comparison to others for a bit more spend

EDIT: sounds like it needs lots of work

Checked it out along with the red one. The silver one is a rebuilt title with interior missing bits here and there, AC was not working, rust on both sides, the steering felt too heavy and there was a slight noise in the rear when taking off. Also, the car started to overheat when I started to test drive it and was smoking from the expansion tank even though it was replaced recently. However it did go down after a little while, I’m assuming the system wasn’t bled properly. The engine also sounded really smooth and quiet.

westopher 05-14-2024 08:56 AM

Jesus that sounds horrible lol. More like a 3k car than a 13k car.

The red one drove really nice, the owner appeared to be super knowledgeable. VINs on all panels. However there is some rust on one side of the car that I will eventually address in the future.

I think he said he’s throwing in some Kosei K1s as extra that I’ll probably sell. OEM wheels look best on these cars.
