How come you guys put deposits on cars? Pending inspection? Seems kinda sketch these days with scams or I want to take the car on the spot so it doesn't get fucked around with or damaged until pick up.

Oh normally I wouldn’t, but this guy is a prof from UBC, I viewed the car at his house and he only asked for a small amount.

he's THE professor at UBC. huge car guy - very well known. my brother bought an ex open wheel car project off him 6-7? years ago now. Formula UBC race team

There's no possibility of scam here.

Congrats on the car, it may have some scabs to take care of but i guarantee it's been well taken care of. going to miss seeing it around the shore.

Is it... what's his name? Andrei, or something? The guy with the chopped roof hillclimb E36?

If it's him I'd trust him with the full amount lol. Standup guy.

That's the same guy. He's going to be a good person to buy a car, especially an e36 off of.

e36 oem are pretty nice, but could benefit from some volks imo haha which i have for sale if you change ur mind.

Hey now... that car looks like it is being expertly driven... at full lock. (Full disclosure, I'm driving, and the first photo has the car owner looking on from a distance going "WTF").

That car was great.

You know what, I like to see photos like that on a car that old... it means it's been through it and it's still there, it's solid... brand new car no you don't want to see that... but very reassuring to see it on a car that's nearly 30 years old!

There’s not many for sale nowadays, I’d say a super nice one would be 25-30k

E36 M3 sedans are rare, and only came out in 97 and 98. I'm unsure if they were ever available in model year 99 or not.

The sedan runs are almost always shorted because the sedan EOP always happens first due to the sedan being the first body variant to be released, but the M version doesn't come out until the coupe does.

The F80 M3 was produced from 2015 to 2018 as the F30 sedan EOP was 2018, the F82 M4 coupe ran until 2020. G20 3 series started production for 2019, but there was no M version until the G22 coupe was available together with the G80/82.

I don't know the years for the E90/2 but similar production year releases made the E90M much rarer. They also gave the E92M the CF roof but not the E90M which pushed everyone into the coupe.
