the seller is kind of a dick. I asked him if he's gonna come to the mainland anytime soon with the cross cab and hes like WE HAVE NO NEED TO COME TO THE MAINLAND.
Oooo well la dee dah professor!
now i gotta get his phone number and 1) convince him to come over with this joke of a car, or 2) go see it on the island and then somehow haggle the fucker down. 21k seems a bit nutty when they are going for 13-15k across Canada.
Nah. I’m with this guy. If I was selling a car and someone asked if I’m coming over I probably wouldn’t even reply. lol. You either want it or you don’t.
Now go buy it…. For 14k. lol. That thing is wild. It’s like a Japanese Jeep… that can’t really go off road. lol.
I wonder if there really is someone out there whose willing to pay 21 large for a Cross Cab... I have to admit though, I kinda think its cool Slam it on Tarmacs and daily the MF!
I am pretty sure that Murano use to be in Nanaimo. was owned by a car salesman who imported it from the states.
The guy's been trying to sell it since last summer so I'm surprised he's not budging on the sale price. But then again this one has half the typical miles that pop up in my AutoTrader alerts (and those are typically located in ON / QC as well), so his asking price seems reasonable against comparables.
Ppl with head injuries are often unreasonable. Just a chain of bad decisions after the next. Started with paying actually currency for that thing, then importing it and now trying to sell it for triple what it's worth. Hopefully someone slips on black ice this winter and he can offload it to another ward of the state.
Hey! I saw you with your Datsun today heading down towards Steveston.
Question: why is your muffler so loud. The old man across the street had this look of displeasure on his face while you drove by
I waved but maybe you didn’t see me. I was pushing dogs in a dog stroller

Yeah me !!! <~~<<< this retard really wants one. It’s the perfect car to troll the wife with. I just don’t feel like spending 21k on a rolling joke …. 10-15 fine.

Alright, I'm new to this, but I hear some of you have some practice.

I lowkey want one of these for the lulz, and agree that 10-15 is the range. In the meantime, I'll just rewatch this again:

Fuck off you cheap ass (BC) Mainlander.
Is that how it goes?
(kidding of course, 21 does seem a little much)
in my defense, i just asked if he ever comes over to the mainland.
I figure dem islanders would occasionally come over to the mainland to do uhhh ya know.... stuff.... like sell their fish? ... or take in a lap dance at brandy?
i dont know! seems innocent enough. But he was DEEPLY offended. WE HAVE NO NEED TO COME TO YOUR SHITTY MAINLAND!!!! like my god, this guy is the embodiment of the cross cab owner.
Yeah, people who grew up on the island here sometimes have a bit of a thing about that. It goes a little beyond the need to display 'Island life!' bumper stickers sometimes. I've had a few people (in their 40's like me) walk up and ask if they know me, and if I'm from 'here'. When I say I moved over from Vancouver 4 years ago they just give me a and walk back to their pickup truck and drive off.
Then there's the whole 'Victoria' (rich mine owners and government big wigs) and the rest of the coal mining/lumberjack/fishing island history that does seem to still play out in the background.
More like you’ve approached a mid to late 60’s man, who barely knows how to operate a computer a question regarding the sale of his vehicle. I’ve seen how my aunts act on Facebook… do you really need to rationalize his answer? BTW, real islanders don’t go to the mainland. No need. lol.
