No man. I’ve seen that Lexus factory. It’s pretty much all Homer Simpsons. Like a fleet of homers. Buddy guys can’t get into this line of work without another buddy guy already in it.

Not my thing but low mileage and he says good paint, easy fixes to get it to collector plate status potentially. Just a big comfy and floating couch.

I don't get the appeal of these boomer barges would you get like 150km with like $100 worth of gas. It just looks so inefficient with no power.

It appeals to the folks that used to see Cadillac as the equivalent of rolls Royce. It was the standard of the world.
All the movie stars and celebrities had Cadillacs. From Elvis to Hepburn. All classic American icons had these cars. To drive a Cadillac meant you were in that upper echelon of society.
Luxury at any cost. It was a very interesting way of building cars.
You’re not meant to race anyone. You “proceed” slowly to let everyone have a good look at your sheer opulence.
(P.s. i kinda want one, and then add bull horns on the front along with a giant cow boy hat)
p.p.s. did this hero glue on a datejust!!?!/ its worth more than his entire car

Sounds about right, base model, no sh AWD, 180k kms, not a lot of demand for V6 barge that needs premium these days. Probably imported from Quebec?

First year of the 6 speed auto had a lot of failures, this one should be a 5 speed.

2002 LS430 for $4800. Badly needs a detail inside and out and sounds like there's some body work to be done but that sounds like a great deal if you're handy.

NC driving feel is fine. 2.0 blow ups are overblown, plus you want to swap in a 2.5 anyways. But that particular one looks rough, and I'm not a fan of PRHT, and definitely not a good fit if you want to autox or track it.

2.5 swap is exactly the move... and throw some Brian Crower cams at it before you swap it in too.
There's 3/4 I know that had it done, they're a lot more fun that way.

Isn't the swap like $6-7000? I don't think any swap is cheap these days unless you buy a swapped one
