I was gonna say, owner probably used connects to get allocations then is trying to profit off them. If they don't sell then it's an operating loss for tax breaks. We each get to put a couple cents to pay for rich dudes car collections. Man this place is cool. |
There was that blue rcf that had like $30k worth of claims listed for $40k for a while. I think it was still clean title. I don't make that $300k no questions asked shipping money + union strike money FeelsBadMan |
What strike money ?! I don’t know how many times I gotta tell you. I’m management. I work for the port authority. If you just want the engine, ISF is the cheapest entry. Even those are still 30-40k But the ratrolla gets those Yamaha heads and specializes intake / exhaust. Rcf and is500 doesn’t really sound like the ratrolla. Plus the chassis on the is500 is pretty old and not as advance as the TNGA L one that’s in the LC/LS and Crown. |
Does the 500 rcf gsf lc still have those direct injection issues? Or the valley pan leak? I was watching the car care nut tear down a ls460 4.6 and he was saying it was common to have the coolant leak in the middle of the v and usually by the time you catch it it's too late cuz all the coolant is gone and the car doesn't tell you. It's a slow leak in the bay that you won't see. And it's a huge job to get to and the injectors usually break when you remove them. Also the injectors are like $300 each :okay: I miss the reliable 3uz but then you get no power |
You’re taking about the LS460 with the 3uz or the 1UR ? If it’s the 1UR “some” has this potential issue but it’s not common. The ISF / RCF / LC uses the 3ur gse and not common at all. At least not on any of the LC forums I’ve visited. Some of these old men have put over 150,000miles on their LCs and no issues reported. Actually there are no known issues from what I’ve read or common failure points. Go watch all the car care nut videos on the LC. Not a single power train issue other than the shifts might be jerky at low speeds (earlier years, but they keep revising the transmission programming every year). |
I was referring to 3uz cars, after owning 3 of them they are truly one of the best engines. |
They are really smooth and indestructible... but they also put out pretty meagre power by today's standards for their size and fuel consumption. |

Dunno anything about these cars but seems like a neat package Manual AWD hatchback, based on license plate probably has a longtime owner, and decently maintained based on new tires etc. https://www.facebook.com/share/Ysa2n...ibextid=kL3p88 |
Sold already, I kinda looked into them for a manual winter beater but most of them were beat and high km. Not sure what parts availability is like. |
03 M3 manual $26500 https://www.facebook.com/share/qkjA4...ibextid=79PoIi |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...768005720.html Low mileage NG 900 manual - $2,999 Possibly 1 owner? The clutches on SAABs tend to be squishy and forgiving. https://images.craigslist.org/00t0t_...o_1200x900.jpg |
^ Woah I haven't see a local white plate that old in a long time. That RAV4 in the back looks pretty mint too. |
|
I have no idea why ppl spend that much money and time panting/swapping a car and then drill in 5 cent flip switches into the dash. |
Because toggle switches are amazing? And classic? Lol |
Levers and pull switches > toggles |
Ah yes a wall of unlabeled switches |
Terrible ad but could be cool cars and coffee mobile depending on condition 1975 Bricklin SV-1 - $14.5 |
Haha I almost bought one of those as a teenager trying to find something that was super uniques... they're not even painted, it's acrylic resin in the colour of the car. One of the only Canadian production cars ever. This 351 only came with a 2bbl carb... 179hp from 5.8L hahaha... could really open things up with an intake and 4bbl carb setup alone! |
https://www.facebook.com/share/LvtRW...ibextid=kL3p88 Seems like a good buy, cheaper than a beetle or r8 |

The Camry.... I had one. They are great on the highway, but really not my first choice for a hypermiler. And he would have gotten more mileage if he had smoothed out the underbody instead. |
what disappoints me more is he is obviously going for the trophy truck look but then decided to put on some show truck wheels. but thats a easy fix. dope truck |
