2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Brabus Edition, LWB

The depreciation on these types of cars is just crazy. My dad bought a 2012 S63 Brabus with less than 15k at auction last spring for less than 1/3 the price. Haha! Every time I see it I think about the guy that bought it new. Ouch!

flagella 01-30-2015 09:25 AM

The guys buying that type of car brand new couldn't care less about depreciation.

white rocket 01-30-2015 09:34 AM

That is the truth.

is that a good price? I feel like getting it as a DD

GabAlmighty 01-30-2015 01:13 PM

Says he needs it gone.. Offer 3500 and you've got an M3 for 3500. Don't really see how you can go wrong, unless it vents itself the following day haha.

westopher 01-30-2015 01:16 PM

I mean, it's up to you if it's worth it, but I've seen plenty of s50/52 powered m3s on bimmerforums with 200k and even 250k miles still being regularly driven and reliable. The rebuilt title is a downside but I'd say it's the kinda car you could daily and have LOTS of fun in until it dies, then make your money back parting it. A nice e36 m3 is a 10k+ car easily. I think at less than half the price this one is well worth a look.

SkunkWorks 01-30-2015 02:24 PM

Not necessarily the best deal but the sub-20k 964 doesn't exist at all unless it's a wreck.

Too bad it's a cab...

That doesn't run...

1990 porsche 911 carrera 2 cabriolet (964) PLEASE READ BELOW

GabAlmighty 01-30-2015 02:33 PM

Well, you've already saved a bunch of labour costs by the motor already being out of the car hahaha. I'd honestly say that that could be a decent deal...

boostfever 01-30-2015 02:45 PM

it's still a cab with 188K on the body. not the most desirable 911.

I hate to sound like multi, but for that price I'd rip on it til something massive fails, part out the ancillaries and do the 302 conversion with what you got from them.

If I hadn't just dumped a bunch of money in my car i'd make a firm $4,000 offer on it in a second.

NotRevSeen 01-30-2015 04:43 PM

There's a white NSX that's just been listed here in the RS classified section :jizz:

TouringTeg 01-30-2015 06:25 PM

^ That NSX is awesome. Quite the road trip.

That 964 cab was listed last year for $25k and didn't sell. (I remember the crooked hood badge). At 15k it will sell.

tofu1413 01-30-2015 08:29 PM

I know that 964 inside out.

BC canadian car.

currently at third owner. Pretty base 964 cab, but has HiFi and LSD.

interior is in good shape. exterior has minor rock chips. a nice driver, but not concours.

canadian 2001 spec cars are very sought after.
