A r129 would be a better weekend cruiser then a w140, if only it came with Amg monoblocks |
Holy shiet lol just realized MPV's are RWD just like Previa's |
Previa MR > rwd |

^^^ Yea, and then get quoted $18K for extended warranty (which... cant believe I am saying this... would be a good buy if you plan on to daily it and rack up miles lolol) |
If you're gonna put on miles and get a warranty, I'd recommend the S580e Way smoother on adaptive cruise, way cheaper to run (also DC fast charges at 60kw), and you get 6 years/100k km on the battery warranty EQB gets 8 years and EQE/EQS get 10 years The fast charging is a huge deal, you top off in 20 minutes and get 100km for $7 on electrons rather than $25-30 on gas. 60kw is faster than some EVs (Bolt, Leaf, or any Tesla above 55% state of charge). Other PHEV charge at like 3-6kw. |
Why not just get a eqs? Kinda want a used taycan wagon but the interior is looking pretty mid for $100k+ |

S class also gives u the option to "forget about" charging and just drive Taycan is dope IF you have good fast charging available cuz it's very power hungry but charges like 2-2.5X faster than tesla. BC is pretty limited; taycan will top out at 50/100kW at BC Hydro, 150kW on a supercharger; is capable of 330kW. |

Dang that thing nasty |
This iX seems like an excellent deal and cheaper than comparable units. 2023 BMW ix xdrive50 - $66,000 Quote:

How much was it new? That sounds like a huge depreciation hit |

Not sure if it would be actually loaded as dealers would call anything with a sunroof and power windows loaded, but alpine white is a big turn off. |
^ the ix is definitely one of those cars u have to buy in black |
Or have to buy something else lol. |

Oh wow, a clean ish non-out to lunch priced, mid 90s, manual car??? Somebody just found their winter/spring project? |

For normal luxury car buyers, great ride quality, handling, sound insulation, sound system. No crazy BMW maintenance. For EV buyers, software is very well integrated and easy to use; I didn't reach for Carplay and I feel my parents could defs figure it all out. For EV road trippers, charges a lot faster than Model X/Y and the best hands free driving assist at the moment; way more consistent than SuperCruise and BlueCruise. Trip planner is the best one outside of Tesla, my parents can defs figure this out out. |
We test drove the iX before buying the X5. It's leagues ahead of Tesla as a car. The major weak point is the price and lack of frunk. Tesla tries to sell their simplicity as a plus, but it reeks of cost cutting to me. The iX imo creates an environment in the car that's unrivaled in any car I've driven so far. Unfortunately I can't get over the charging thing and thus bought a X5 instead. |

180kW, great reliability, and chargers all over the place. 2023 complaints about showing up to Electrify Canada/America and not being able to charge are also null now. Have never not gotten a charge at full speed now. |
What about that ix7 thing? I still don't really trust BMW EV, or mb either. It seems like they are still trying to throw shit at the wall until it sticks, I don't think any of their I cars sold well. Neither has eq, so I think parts support down the line will be a bitch. Or you get quoted $30000 for a battery like Porsche or Hyundai. Just look what happened to their i3 i8, they will most likely end up as orphan cars like frisker. |
BMW EV has amazing battery support - they can do cell by cell replacements and are doing this even for the i3 still. Hyundai battery is only 50k in Canada, the part is like 5k USD from a states dealer. |
I'm not sure if it affects i8 too but I know the i3 wireless connection has been discontinued due to the cars having 3g Sims. So basically you can't talk to your car and see what charge status, pre condition etc. |
