Time to buy a foxbody 5.0, grow a mullet, and be the most interesting person in the room. |
I'd love a Superformance GT40 |

although historically mine doesn't keep anything for years. i hope he buys it |
@westopher how’s the wagon hunt coming along? You have me debating a new daily for the wife but not much out there. |
I'm not seriously looking yet. Probably a late 2025/early 2026 serious look. I really don't have many options though from the looks of it. Maybe x3 4.0 or if the right f31 came up, but most have more mileage than I want. |

That sounds perfect but I don't think the timing will work unless it sits for like a month. |

Hobz, how were Maserati body parts and service parts? Looks like just 300 cars came with the F1 box in North America. Thus, i'm hunting for a white convertible w/ red interior and valved exhaust A few mods in mind: 1) 2017+ Front and rear bumpers 2) F430 steering wheel 3) 458 paddle shifters 4) Updated center console |

Remember to check that maseratilife link i posted for the engine chassis #. it'll determine whether or not you have a variator issue (which is the biggets failing). The rest of the car is pretty reliable and easy to work on. |

No carbon buckets:okay: |
And no folding rear seats, I think for Quadrofolioajioashfauhfao (I cant spell it) You want late 2019+ But yes, thats is an extremely inticing package for under $50K.... If i was a mechanic... I am super envious of my coworker, he is a sales now, but he was a certified Fiat/Alfa/BMW/Mazda/Nissan tech.... he always buys interesting cars on the side to drive for a few months and somehow sell them at a profit after he fixes a few issues with them. Imagine not worrying buying into out of warranty European cars, a man can dream! lolollolol |
Probably due for brakes but good price and way more interesting than a M3 |
I can't say that word without saying QuadraFAGio |
I’ve always wondered if the Giulia QV’s or G80 M3’s 6MT could be swapped into other ZF8 based cars. |
With enough money, anything is possible. But yea, with the amount of sensors and software that is going on these days. It is no longer that you bolt everything in, with maybe some adapter plates. Plug Holley, AEM, Haltech, MoTeC, someone online tune this car out so everything plays nice while retaining alot of OEM perks like, linking engine response, transmission sharpness, rev-match, suspension/damper, e-lsd limits to all "run well" in different modes from ECO to Track etc etc etc Or even something as simple as Launch Control can have all sorts of weird parameters that I assume normal people like us wont know what to do with... It is already an impossible amount of work/calibration even if all manufacture ECU were open source, now mix in encryption into the mix... |
The engineer in me thinks modern cars are amazing because of ECU coordination—it’s what makes everything work seamlessly. The car guy in me loves how cars like the E39/E46, Giulia, Durango SRT/Hellcat, ZL1, Viper, and C7 ZR1 nail the perfect balance of comfort and sportiness through pure tuning magic, not just electronics. |
You've got 2 guys in you at the same time? Dayam |
2 guys? brother we got a full pit crew up in here |

Was just about to post it in the interesting buys, damn... my boners for sporty wagons has yet to subside and its been over 4 hours BibleThump |
sexy spec but tbh my friends' f30 340i MPPK was so boring to drive that i would really rather just have an X3 M40i or X3M in fact, new X3M are moving SO slowly they're leasing at ~$1100 CAD a month taxes in, 0.01% interest. |

Is no longer available with the X3 model switchover. Checked the numbers: 0.1% loyalty interest, ~70% residual, 24 month lease. $1150 taxes and fees in; non loyalty would’ve been 2.1% interest. A couple friends signed in August |
