He said he cares about reliability and you're telling him to get a 335 with all its issues? Nay sir.... Nayyyyyy.
Audi's not much better, but the 3.0 supercharged engine is bulletproof. Avoid the V8.

Audi's not much better, but the 3.0 supercharged engine is bulletproof. Avoid the V8. | I've had three... and including all my family members, we've had over a dozen cars with the 35i engine. It's issues are def over-exagerated, and definitely a day at the beach compared to Audi.
My gf and her dad both have the 3.0 supercharged and they're very far from bulletproof.

Not my idea of a dsy at the beach hahha... Who are we kidding tho German cars suck for ownership costs BMW / Audi / Mercedes there's no shortage of shyte examples

Why would he swap a JDM engine if it already came with a B16A?
LR 1/4 repair that's covered by vinyl should also be of some concern.

Personally, I love these cars. The K20 pulls hard, even in the K20A3 guise. The chassis is stiff like a solid block, but I found the brakes to be inadequate, at least on the 4 lug pre-facelift models.
The go-to car is the facelifed, 5 lug car, but clean copies of those seem to be unicorn rare...
