The most modern car that comes close to this is the Subaru Forester. Max out the seat height and you pretty much have a 360 degree unobstructed view that makes you feel like the Pope.

My Golf has it too but I can't get high enough without my head touching the ceiling. I have to Fat Joe lean back with the seat jacked up. The Corolla hatch loaner I had for 2 weeks could get the same-ish seating position. The roof was higher since it was a peasant spec with no sunroof.

I wish we got the Sportsvan from Europe

Looks like even more cost cutting on the mk8.5
My gti badge on the fender is an actual badge. This looks super tacked on.
Nothing aliexpress can’t fix but still….

Oh and nice Alfa rip off wheels.

Clean 94 4runner manual 153K - 11K? Scam???!

whitev70r 04-05-2025 06:43 AM

I know it's not vogue to promote Tesla but brand aside, this would be a pretty decent buy

2015 Model S 85D, 150K kms, with free supercharging, clean title, $22.5K, buy it on the dip. Just have to delete all the T logo on it.

Here is another one 2014 Model S 85, 155k Kms, at $21.8K, again, in grey, free supercharging - https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...b-1f06198f7557

why? whats wrong with Tesla? lolol

Yes, we get it the CEO is .... (put your own adjective here) .. but as a product, nothing wrong with Tesla... or have I been brainwashed?

lololol

whitev70r 04-06-2025 05:09 AM

Cybertruck owners might strongly disagree that Tesla, as a product, 'nothing wrong'. :lol

Ppl usually don't like putting money into the pockets of ppl they despise. That's why I don't buy Rolls Royce.

Wasn't the build quality on old Teslas pretty poor? Terrible panel gaps and such.

AstulzerRZD 04-06-2025 07:24 PM

Yeah, things look door handles will always go bad on these.
Couple things to look for..

1) AWD model because RWD rear motors WILL fail.
2) At least one battery pack replacement because they WILL fail because of primitive BMS.
3) Media screen/computer have been upgrade because they WILL run out of RAM/fail
4) Has autopilot computer.

They can be a good buy.
Range and fast charging speed is usable for Vancouver climate/driving even without heatpump.

Badhobz 04-07-2025 05:28 AM

I still remember when manic used to promote these stupid things and say Ferrari / Lambro guys were taking Teslas as an alternative.

That fad died pretty quick when teslas turned into the new uber eats weapon of choice.

Then I clicked into it and it's not m-tech II and unfortunately still overpriced. Damn. For kids these days, the E90 should be "my" E46, which means this should be E36 pricing by now.. but I guess a sorted clean E36 would have been around this price (idk i wasn't looking or I don't remember there to be any). Wild.

I didn't know non-m's could option for adjustable lumbar seats. Thought it was just an opt. for M3. That is however, a very nice touch... if it still works.

AstulzerRZD 04-08-2025 06:01 AM

Yeah, seems reasonably priced. It’s more of a well-kept, mature spec than the enthusiast’s dream—perfect for someone less serious about their road car or just wanting a lower-hassle window into the past like me.

Even though it's not a ZHP/ZAM car, it still has the 6 speed.
ZSP (Sport Package) gave it bolstered seats/stiffer suspension and it also has Premium and Cold Weather packs because of the moon roof, ski bag and headlight washers.

I don't know how to tell if this has the other stuff you're talking about but here's another manual 330ci that came up https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/i...ref=browse_tab

AstulzerRZD 04-09-2025 05:32 PM

Yeah this one looks like the most desirable spec with hotter cams, higher redline,.
Can tell because of the alcantara interior.

E46 wise, Canada got
1) sport pack (the blue one)
2) M Sport (desirable bumpers and visuals but no cam/exhaust/redline bump)
3) M Sport Performance (which this one is)

The maintenance on this one is super sus.
They replaced ZHP damper with Bilstein B4 daily bullshit, raising the ride height compared to stock.
It should’ve gotten B8 (Performance Plus, lowered); 500 CAD difference.

Probably has another 10k of deferred maintenance:
VANOS & tensioner, all mounts, cooling & water pump, trailing arms, driveshaft stuff, DISA/PCV/subframe

68style 04-09-2025 07:29 PM

The thigh bolsters on that one look like they'd fully collapse if all 150lbs of AstulzerRZD breathed on them

AstulzerRZD 04-09-2025 07:51 PM

the plastic seat controls probably don't work at all lol

JDMDreams 04-09-2025 09:50 PM

Would you really pay $8500 for a mid spec 20 year old BMW with 270,000 kms:pokerface:

AstulzerRZD 04-10-2025 05:35 AM

The black one is objectively terribly but a BMW fan somewhere will see the ZHP pack and buy it.
The blue one earlier is a much better value.
