Isn't Cowell a somewhat legit dealership? Better than buying from some random shop on kingsway

white rocket 02-15-2015 12:59 AM

That's a killer deal then . I'd say they are a legit dealership but the CarProof results and overall conditon of the car will speak for itself.

Damn the sti is sold already

vitaminG 02-15-2015 09:43 AM

Series 1 E type, 4.2 triple carb, convertible. Probably best e type you can get. In Kelowna

I missed the convertible part and was ready to lose my mind. Still a killer car, but I can't get as excited as I would for the coupe.
What was the story with the 911 I'm supposed to buy Skunkworks posted? Fake ad? Someone buy it?

No idea. Somewhat vague ad with 2 terrible pictures of it, but cheap aircooled 911 regardless if advertised condition is actual.

Presumably sold or potential buyers lined out the door.

westopher 02-15-2015 10:17 AM

Ugh. You know how searching for your next car with money in your bank always used to be fun and exciting? This porsche search isn't. Its stressful and disappointing.:QQ:
On a more enjoyable note, I think I saw you out in the C4 with the roof rack yesterday.

SkunkWorks 02-15-2015 01:52 PM

Most likely! Where did you see me? I didn't see you otherwise would have waved to the Barney M3.

... Almost 1500 km in 2 weeks of ownership :lol

westopher 02-15-2015 04:34 PM

I was in my buddies 4 runner on the way back from whistler, right near the lions gate.
I was like "hey I know that guy!" My wife asked me how, and I was forced to respond, "the internet.":okay:

Jgresch 02-15-2015 05:05 PM

Me to my GF at a restaurant 10 years ago...

"Hmm..hypa's here."
"Who's hypa?"
"Guy on RS."
"What's his real name?
"I don't know :okay:"

tofu1413 02-15-2015 05:14 PM

Good god.

Its like the rs ers that bump into me and ask me if I'm tofu. :lawl:

1990 Honda CRX SI or Trade 4x4

Hmmm. B16 swap. Makes me sad as I am having a hell of a time finding specific parts for my D16.

GS8 02-15-2015 05:37 PM

Vague ad and lame photography but could be a good grab

1981 Dodge Ram

hud 91gt 02-15-2015 05:59 PM

Last two post would be great buys. That CRX would be fun.... fun stripping those altezzas off. haha.

that's a beaut of a truck.

realistically what do you suppose gas would be as a dd?
100/week?

I'd love a truck like this but would hate paying that gas bill.

Original BB1 02-15-2015 06:53 PM

2003 Nissan 350z black GREAT CONDITION

If you can look past the rebuilt status, it's the cheapest 350z on the market. Not bad kilometers either. Might be a good candidate for someone interested in going RocketBunny status.

The funny thing is I can only imagine the in person exchange going like this

"Hey man, I'm Alex"
"Do I know you?"
"What..? Oh, The_AK on Revscene, you're ICE BOY right?"
"Yea man!"
"... Cool"

and then maybe about 7 seconds of this:

Pretty much sums up my encounter with westopher at McDonald's in kits...

westopher 02-15-2015 07:21 PM

Lol, I'm not always that socially inept. It catches you off guard when you meet people out of context with your face full of nuggets.

!Aznboi128 02-15-2015 07:26 PM

Lets be honest. That's all of us

But what I can say the best part is I have made some really good friends from rs that are even closer then friends from work/past.

what I'm tying to say is... I miss Jgresch :hay:

GabAlmighty 02-15-2015 07:36 PM

I hate having to explain where and how I know certain cars from...

It doesn't help when you show up at RS Epic hockey night and you have Jgresch written on white hockey tape on your helmet like what coaches made us do when we were in minor hockey.
