Disclaimer: Do not know the prices of these at all, and it is also an automatic transmission. But this particular vehicle, regardless of price, may be of interest to someone out there.
I have a 1997 M3 that I decided to put up for sale. Current condition of the car is excellent for its age. Paint still shines especially with this rare estoril blue colour. Black interior with black vadar seats. US import and odometer is currently at ...

500 miles in 8 years? Super low mileage cars aren't necessarily the holy grail. Depending on whether or not it has been started regularly, and driven a tiny bit, these cars could be in worse shape than those that are driven on a regular basis...flat spotted tires, old gas that could have oxidized and be contaminated with water, dry rotting of gaskets/seals, etc... probably a good idea to ask the owner how the car was stored.

It's overpriced hence the reason it's still for sale. Has been for sale for a looooong time. Don't understand when sellers refuse to budge on price but still sell which causes a stale listing. Guess they're just waiting for that 1 sucker to buy it who doesn't know the value.

My question is why only 500 miles in 7 years. That mileage is actually scary low.

It's been for sale for awhile.
It's a very nice driver for a great price so I can't imagine why it hasn't sold.

I think there's a point where the mileage is high enough that the high asking price is hard to justify
Hey guys, that is my car that is listed there for sale. I appreciate the feedback and I'm sorry if I priced it a tad high. Reason behind it is that since the CAD to USD rate is so shitty right now I thought the cost of bringing in a clean one from the south is a lot higher too.
Also, I put it up for sale briefly around June/July and pulled the listing after I got the S2000. I wanted see how I like the S2000 before selling the M3. Turned out that I liked the S better as a weekend car and winter was around the corner so it didn't make sense to post the M3 for sale at that time. Car has been stored underground for the last 8 months or so and the weather is warming up so I thought it's a good time to post it up again.
Oh, and I never said the listed price is set in stone firm. I'm willing to listen to offers within reason. Again, not in rush to sell. I'm tempted myself to sell the winter beater and DD the M3 again
Even though mileage is not on the lowest, it's not that high for a 18 years old car @ ~13,000km/year.

If you want to sell it quickly list it on bimmerforums or m3forum for 10k. Someone in the states will bite and you will end up pretty close to your mark. SO many people looking for them. I've had like 5 or 6 PMs in the last 2 weeks on there from people asking me to sell without even the mention of considering to sell it.
