MINT 2005 BMW M3 (E46)

Hear there's quite a few issues with the car, changed hands a few times in the last month.

westopher 02-26-2015 10:55 PM

Really? It looks amazing. Care to share some of the issues? I'm sure a few people have their eyes on it.

SpartanAir 02-26-2015 11:25 PM

^ Yup definitely a manual. Auto 944's are "supper" undesirable...

At the very least it's an 85.5 model with the upgraded interior. Pre 85 it has the 924 interior which is super dated. That one is pretty high mileage, but not horrible. Looks like the driver seat is in decent shape which is a good sign, and the dash doesn't look that bad from the pic but hard to tell. The dashes on these cars tend to crack easily with high miles.

Looks like the PO has spent money on door speaker upgrades; you can see the built in tweeters.

And bonus spotting: It has S/S door sills with the Porsche crest; I remember getting those for my car off ebay in like 2002. Dunno if they still make them. But that's a good sign as I remember finding them first on Rennlist. If the PO was a Rennlister then that's a good sign too.

Wait who wants an auto porsche?

westopher 02-26-2015 11:33 PM

According to the cars at porsche dealerships nowadays, fucking everybody. Lazy fucks.

This one isnt the one that changed owners. The one selling this m3 is actually my friend, and he's owned it for a while.

^^yup, looks that way. I saw the CL ad first last week. Noticed that it's been for sale for a while. If this car checks out and all is good I'd consider it a good buy with a little negotiation. With the US/CAD dollar disparity and the price of NSX's in general this ain't that bad at all.

Hmmmmmmmmm.......

Don't think so. I think I would have remembered the crappy one. I've seen so many of these cars in my life that they get etched into my mind...Back in the day I spent more time on Rennlist than on RevScene :alonehappy:

I don't think I can afford it, but this one would be the top choice.

Porsche 911 930 replica

Spoiler!

That thing was for sale all last year in Van (by Killarney), so the guy either moved or the person who bought it is giving up on it already.

SpartanAir 02-27-2015 12:19 PM

^ You'd have to reaaaally want a 930 slantnose to go through with that build. They are awesome, but even if it was done right, think of all the other cars you could have bought with that resto money knowing you just have a fibreglass replica...

adambomb 02-27-2015 12:49 PM

In 10 years we're all going to be old men with a little more money, fighting each other to buy the same porsches.

I've always wanted a real 930 slantnose. Goes with my slant eyes. :woot2:
