It's a good deal if it's nice. It's been for sale for a long time, which makes me assume that it isn't.

Be very cautious, that place is sketchy as fk. Long story short, my friend went to take a look at the spec R s15 they had for sale (1999 Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-R Turbo RWD Manual WARRNTY 119K'S $161B/W*) and the minute he popped the hood there was an s13 engine in there and the car was 5 speed LOL

This thread has been up for 10 months now. Lots of ads posted with discussion in between.

After viewing this thread for so long, I can say two things...

A) I'm never buying a new car again
B) I won't buy anything newer than 2005 (and that's a stretch)

So much good shit out there in great condition with cool owners

It baffles me how RS still lets them advertise here.

I'm not going to lie but this car has crossed my mind a couple of times.
Used 1998 BMW Z3 Coupe RARE 1YR WRNTY, $10,890 - Burnaby | Vancouver Velocity Cars

Hmmmmm...is this the same truck that was featured a while back, but with a fresh paint job? I knew that truck had potential, and despite being completely useless as a pickup truck, this is rad. $9500 (now?)

I don't believe so. The white one had a newer box on it ifI remember correctly, although that may have been changed out so you could be correct!

Looks like a decent M3. Not sure on the mileage though, few dings, SMG but the price is low enough.

I think the transmission is gonna go soon...too many horror stories about SMG.

Car was originally imported from Germany, so resale might take a hit when you sell it down the road.

you are correct - the white one that was posted had a late model dodge dually box that looked awful. if this one is that one then the appropriate box and paint made a big difference... i like it!

CCA-Dave 02-28-2015 10:49 PM

I've been thinking about that truck all afternoon/eve.

Must
Stop
Thinking
About
It...

Not just that... Revscene first and foremost is a Local Automotive forums, we should be able to voice our opinions on local dealerships both negative and positive. Makes no sense why we can't tell the truth online and we have to do it in person where no one else gets to hear it.

PS, I've been to the dealership three times when Bruce was still running the place. Only thing that baffles me is that place actually sells cars. Most cars are overpriced regardless of condition and some of them have been on the lot for almost half a year now :heckno:

1: They were a paying sponsor.

Sites don't run for free. Especially on a forum of our scale. Have you ever donated to keep the site running? Ever buy a RS lanyard? Sticker? Click an Ad? Or, at least disable Adblock?

2: We don't censor you. Barely.

You're allowed to voice your opinion, and say whatever you feel. Unless it's blatantly racist, or a personal attack that gets too far. We only remove Spam, illegal items, or shit you shouldn't be posting in the first place.

We protect our own. but we also protect our sponsors. We're trying our best to support the community, but we're a very small team. Maybe instead of complaining, you could thank us by supporting us?

I fully agree. I've never owned a new car, and don't think I ever will. I love having something a bit older with more character, and I really love coming to this thread to see awesome rare finds, that make me wonder: "Can I pull off buying that somehow?" Or at the very least fill my dream garage in my head...

So keep em coming! And CCA-Dave and others who post a pic of the cars from the link, thanks! Makes this thread much more enjoyable!

Every time I consider buying something new, I come in here and end up seeing something that's a lot cooler for the same price.

Correct me if i'm wrong. Isn't the SMG tranny the same as the 6spd, but with some sort of shifting mechanism?
